| I was browsing before and stumbled across this but when I checked it wasn't on the db. Author- Sung San-Young Illustrator- Sang-Ah Release- Sep 6, 2013 (not 100% sure on this) Serialised- Naver (http://comic.naver.com/index.nhn) -I'm not sure the rules on linking to scans but any of these links on google will show you the Manhwa. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=The+Gamer+Manhwa I'm also not sure if this is the place to submit new content.. sorry if it isn't :( -I just found out webtoons aren't added to the db and "You do not have access to do this" appears when I try to delete this thread so could a mod delete it for me? |

| Google indexed an entry that was still in the queue. It was later denied by a manga moderator. If you go to the denials thread you can see that this manhwa has been denied several times because it's an unpublished web comic that doesn't meet the Database Guidelines. | I just googled on MAL to find why this hasn't been accepted. Sad to know it, i would have added it into my favourites. It's really worth reading though. Any person who has ever played games has a high chance of loving this one ;) |

There are some exclusions like noblesse, where it became so popular that it now has it's own books that are being sold. I heard that Tower of Gods got it's first book done too, so hopefully when it starts selling we can finally get ToG into database. But for The Gamer - won't happen any soon, if ever. |

If a web series anime like Eve no Jikan gets put in the database the staff has no grounds to refuse a popular web manwha like this one. |

| 1 - I own Eve no Jikan on Blu Ray, so your point of it being only a web series is invalid 2 - Anime has its own set of guidelines, seperate from the manga guidelines, including a section on ONA 3 - if you can point the mods in the direction of a legit physical book published for a web based manwha then that web manwha will be likely be added to the database |

| While I can understand the desire to being able to keep track of things you like, the simple fact is that there are literally thousands, if not tens of thousands, of unpublished web manga, manwha and manhua. If MAL allowed them in, it would literally double the amount of entries in the database and the mods can barely keep up with what is going in now. The sheer logistics of trying to enter the data is mind boggling. Therefore, the only reasonable thing to do to keep the site running is to set limits and thus the manga guidelines, such as requiring a physical publication for webtoons, were born. |

| Yes, it's a digital, web manhwa, but with the increasing amount of manhwa that is being published in digital-only format, it's a little unfair. The Gamer may be a webtoon, but it's still being published by a publisher and created by a paid professional. It makes perfect sense to limit unpublished work, it's just too much for the site as it is, but there is a reasonable amount of manhwa in digital-only format now with the rise of Naver and their webtoons. Now, aside from the reasons I state above, it's contradictory for MAL to accept some of Naver's digital-only webtoons and not others. The Gamer is not accepted despite multiple submissions, but Noblesse, which is being published by the very same Naver guys and is also digital-only, is in the database. Either accept all the digital-only published webtoons, or don't accept webtoons at all. tl;dr The Gamer is published by Naver, digital-only, and not in MAL database. Noblesse is also published by Naver, digital-only, but is in MAL database. Please fix! |
