Bandai Entertainment announced at the New York Comic Con that they will stream
English subbed and dubbed "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" and "Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch" on Bandai Entertainment Japanese Animation Channel. This service is available only for US users.

Code Geass has already been provided up to episode 5. The rest of the episodes will be uploaded soon.

That's awesome news. I might even give 00 another chance now.

Maybe they'll even partner with Hulu or something or at least put up some of their older shows. Anything to help them up.

Interesting. I really wonder how this strategy is working out for Funimation and Bandai.

meh, I'm already well into S2. I'll be excited when the dubbed/subbed version is on blu-ray in the states. I do think its a step in the right direction towards exposing more anime to American audiences.

This is all well and good but this better not effect my ability to watch the second season or the third whenever it comes out for both Code Geass and Gundam 00...

Just....watch them....on YouTube. They're free, they're legal, they have the dubs, and the quality looks great for YouTube. For crying out loud, why are you so insistent on watching illegal English dubbed rips when the legal alternative is RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU!?

This is nice but Funimation wise, Navarre corporation "The ones who own Funi" stocks have taken a huge hit and I really want Funi to come back up since I own stocks.

Eureka seven would a nice add to online streaming

What is the quality like, anyway? Is it Youtube's fabulous HD quality, normal HD quality or just the standard Youtube quality?

The videos play in YouTube's "high quality" setting by default, there is the "normal quality" setting also available. No "HD" streams.

I'm happy they are making both the dub and the sub available, since the Code Geass dub sucked. The subtitles are too high up on the picture, though.

'High quality' only? Then it's no torture at all, too bad.

Maybe you should actually watch one of the episodes posted by Bandai onto YouTube to see. Because I doubt you actually have.

I think they expect you to close the ad, so leaving it up doesn't help the site any. On a widescreen monitor the ad covers the bottom edge of the picture.
