| Murakami is pretty fucked up it seems. First she lies about being sexually harassed in order to get Moritani to help her cheat on the exams. Then she reveals that she wasn't totally lying about the teacher sexually harassing her, but she just doesn't care? I've gotta say, that kinda feels like some misogynistic bullshit there, for the author to write a character that literally does not mind being molested by a teacher. I'm pretty sure that's something that at least 99% of high school girls would be psychologically/emotionally traumatized by, and the author treating it as such a non-issue in this chapter utterly trivializes that. I know that Japanese society is culturally different from mine, and I should try to respect other perspectives; but it can be pretty hard not to get upset at some of the bullshit that I come across in anime/manga/video games, with this serving as a decent example of that. |
