| Seems more like he is having auditory hallucinations, a voice, that tell him to do things. To me, if something gives you advice that isn't moral that sure isn't god. People who are psychotic often think it's god or an angel telling them things - several characters in this manga are certifiably mentally ill. Just saying. If you poke your eye out to stop a voice or visions that's not God, neither was VanGogh cutting his ear off, it's mental illness which tends to be partially genetic. Her brother Pegasus was mentally ill, the mother was, Aiko was, Punpun's parents had violence issues.... etc etc. On another level him poking that out is taking religion and the cult out of the equation and he is left as just himself with only himself to rely on or blame. Before he was blaming everything that he did on Aiko or God, now he can only look to himself. |

| Punpun's lost absolutely everything and has nothing more to lose and nothing more to gain past this point either. It was his last chance to start again but from zero this time but he told his "god" to fuck off and stuffed that knife into his face like it was a scrumptious hamburger. It's a bleak and tragic ending to the life of Punpun Onodera but it was fated to turn out this way from the start... |

| Oh my, Punpun really chose a brutal way to end his and gods relationship. I think the left eye was the one that Punpun expierenced god with and thats why he decided that this the only way to relief himself from it. I hope he won't be going fully blind because of this |

| @Randomega If you look for the face of the author in google you'll tell the difference. I know "god" isn't the author, but I don'w know who he really is. |
