| Kadokawa Shoten Animation answered to J-Cast News's interview that the TV anime of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" to be aired in April is the re-airing of the first season. The cover note of Newtype magazine March issue says "Suzumiya Haruhi Anime restarts in full throttle. The TV anime will be aired from April". I'm inclined to disagree, while DB's always had the lultastic trolls, have they ever done something on such a scale as this? I mean, think of the amount of people who DL DB's subs for a particular show. Think of how many people were praying for a Haruhi S2, and think of how we've all been strung along with vague hints, that turn out to be things like Haruhi-chan. Next thing you know, we'll have a Haruhi season, which turns out to be another rerun of season 1, but replacing the SOS Brigade with the Lucky Star girls... actually, I wouldn't mind seeing that. This said, heads have exploded. |
