It was okay. The art was obviously the best part - you could probably screencap any frame of this and it would make for a pretty good desktop wallpaper.

I don't have much else to say beyond that. There is such a thing as an anime being too short, and this is a clear testament to that. Although I can admire the attempt at telling a story, the ideas it tried to present weren't explored in much depth, and the whole thing felt generic and uninspired. I can't blame it for those shortcomings, though because it is, after all, only six minutes long.

that was pretty cool, that animation was absolutely beautiful, it was really stunning - loved the colours a lot too. overall a quite nice and wholesome short story.

I loved the familial bond portrayed. wonder why shinkai doesn't make full length film based on such concept.
I also saw she and her cat short from shinkai which has similar concept as this. It was also good, but i like this one better because narration is way more good.
