| I'm A+ Last time I went for blood analysis they made the test for free (oh well, it's not that hard and/or expensive anywya) as merit prize for being such a good client for their clinic. Blood type does not really do you anything, it has only to do with your imunocompetence. It matters if you are a girl, due to isoeritrolisis. (it's more dangerous if you're a Birmanese cat, which I trust you are not) Question: Don't they have a Blood Type Horoscope in Japan? Does anyone know how it works? xD |

| I'm type AB if I remember correctly. Type AB People with blood type AB are hard to categorize. They can have characteristics on both ends of the spectrum at the same time. For instance, they are both shy and outgoing. They easily switch from one opposite to another. AB people are trustworthy and responsible, but can't handle it when too much is asked of them. They don't mind doing favors or helping out, as long as its on their own conditions. People with this blood type are interested in art and metaphysics. AB is considered the worst blood type. In predictability-loving Japan, they're loose cannons. They also like to set their own conditions and reserve the right to drop out when things don't meet their expectations. They're known to be sensitive and considerate—at times—but it just isn't enough to balance out the flaws in this blood type. Also metabolism is not determined by the blood type. Two people with the same blood type can have different metabolism. But it's useful to know your blood type because if you get involve in an accident and you need blood if you or your family can tell them your blood type it will make things easier for the doctors and faster for you to get the blood you need before you die. Also blood types are split in to positive or negative rhesus and it's important to have the same rhesus because to get a transfusion from someone you need a compatible blood type and the same rhesus. As about me? Well am B+. |

Although it could be useful for you to know if you need to for medical reasons etc. I'm a regular blood donor, so i know im O+, pretty boring, sigh. If you go and donate blood then you will not only find out your blood type but you could also be saving someone's life. And giving blood hurts les than a blood test for some reason. I'm not completely sure why, think its because they draw the blood out in tests where as it kinda just flows wehn your giving a donation. : D |

Which brings up into question the whole idea that parents are the number one cause of bad kids. I'm obviously against censorship as you've seen my posts on the forum talk about the issue. | Being O- sucks cause they are fucking rare in the Asean region and they can only receive their own blood type during blood transfusions. O here myself. Here's hoping that my blood test will reveal the Rhesus factor. Kinda related true story : One of biology teacher told me a story he had with a fellow student of his. Student : Is is possible that i am blood type O if my parents are AB and A respectively? Teacher : Sorry boy.... All hell broke loose. |

| I have no Idea, am guessing I have some rare undiscovered Blood type that was lost to mankind, O+ Individuals with type A blood can receive blood from donors of type A and type O blood. Individuals with type B blood can receive blood from donors of type B and type O blood. Individuals with type AB blood can receive blood from donors of type A, type B, type AB, or type O blood. Individuals with type O blood can receive blood from donors of only type O. Individuals of type A, B, AB and O blood can receive blood from donors of type O blood. Type O So everyone can receive O, but O can only recieve from O, oHH!! |

| Nazi or not, horoscopes are fuuuun. As for siblings, unless you're talking about the extremelly rare same-DNA twins, all of us have different DNAs. As for the twins, the peer experience is achieved by a different position, influenciating the complete adult personality. Something as simple as being fed before your twin may have extreme effects (it happens in sheep, therefore it must happen in humans as well) Edit: Also, for humans A+ is the most common, being O+ the universal donor and AB- the black sheep. For dogs the black sheeps are 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.7. For cats it is the B Mik- And you thought we were complicated. |

Edit: I did not confirm, but it makes more sense like you say. O- should be universal donor, being O+ much more common though. Rhesus system is not really important for imuno-competent adults, in case of emergency any O should go well (even though humans are lucky and have all the blood they want on all the types they desire) |

| I'm O+ which suits me pretty well by the Japanese horoscope. I found out my blood-type after donating blood, it is even written on the donor card. And O- is the completely universal donation blood type, + can receive any types but - can only receive - blood. AB+ is the universal recipient, they can get any type of blood. It has something to do with antigens in + blood that - blood lacks... "Your blood already contains antibodies against any antigens you do not manufacture yourself. For example, if you are type A, you cannot accept B and AB blood types because you will have a transfusion reaction, which is a special kind of tissue rejection... There's another important antigen carried on a separate gene called the Rh antigen. If you have the A antigen and the Rh antigen, your blood type is A+. If you don't have the Rh antigen, you're A-.
