DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Helloooo shower scenes~ LOL, I found the club's cheering method to be kinda funny. I was cheering for Rei this episode. The episode was okay I guess. I like how everyone's mood is still cherry though and trying to do their best. Hell, even Rin is a bit surprised. I'm surprised somewhat too, go Haruka~ |

| Getting depressed about losing and in the shower for a long time. Though everyone's worried about him, the best friend knows him best. lol @ the cheer. They all lost at preliminary even though they tried their best. Wow, manager applied relay in secret for them. He went missing to swimming pool and thinking about his own worry by himself. lol @ leaving message without noticing his cellphone later. Mamo's character getting jealous @ Hirakawa-san's character, not a good swimmer for his standard, is swimming with them. Festival ep. next. Hoping that they have a satisfying relay end (not having a regrettable losing because he saw Mamo's character and remembering the loss). |

| This episode was way too predictable, I knew from a mile away that they were all not going to qualify for the finals. But if they happen to win that relay race, I would be kind of pissed, since they didn't even practice for it, and miracles don't even work like that -_- And this show just loves to give off hint after hint, there was something suspicious about Nagisa and Rei's pajamas, I don't know if Kyoani is trolling or what, but it bothers me. This was an okay episode, but it looks like next week's episode is not going to be anything special considering it's festival episode. And they would end this episode at the point Haruka starts in the relay. |

| lol. So the finals weren't even held in this competition?? I thought the final 8 both qualified for the regionals AND would swim to win for this prefecture. Because it doesn't look like Rin swam after that. Or did he just skip because he doesn't care at all. The feelings this episode. Too many feelings. |
| wow i really loved this episode. so they didn't qualify for the finals but i guess in the relay they will win.. maybe. the swimming scenes were great. and so many fangirl moments for me. sleeping makoto, the ever so pretty boy rin and THAT FUCKIN END CARD. i died of adorable. |

| I can't handle this anime, man. The sleeping, and then blushing Makoto. Rei's PJ. The makers of this anime, are just messing with us. It's so cute. But also depressing the first day of the tournament. And the best time to end an episode. I almost hit myself. 5/5 |

| You just knew they were going to end it when it was Haru's turn (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ But it was a good episode and I think it was a wake up call to Haru after losing his heat to make him think why he was swimming all along. I'm sure this influenced him along with seeing everyone else compete to do the relay. I just hope we do get to see the end of the race and not cut to the result. | Rei's pjs and Nagisa's bedhair were the highlights of this episode for me. Loved the cheering & Rin dissing Rei's swimming at the end, friggin' cuties |
| Episode was a bit dramatic, well since it is the continuation of the previous episode. Not enough swimming competition though just only in the 1st half. Haru still feels a bit strained about Rin but I hope they will make up eventually. Well the real relay swim at the end just got started. Well I can't wait to see the next episode The pool animation in this episode as well as the previous ones, is still top notch. |

The fact that he recalled perfectly how they used to swim shows that. In all honestly I think episode showed perfect characterisation. Instead of Nagisa, Rei and Makoto yelling and calling out what Rin supposedly did wrong to Haru, they didn't. All Mako did was remind him of the past. And it didn't go past that at all. He realized it all on his own, that he wanted to get back with them and swim again. This episode also shows how Rin does care a lot about others despite not showing it too much. For example, after winning, he didn't brag about it. All he did was acknowledge Nitorin's congratulations and wished Nitorin luck on his match. And the way he said it didn't even imply that he wanted Nitorin to win for the sake of the team so as to not disappoint it, but he said it in such a friendly way. Haru's existential crisis was interesting to think about too. I also liked his resolution at the end, that the answer may not be found right away. All in all, this perfect had great characterisation and shows that Rin will most likely reconcile with the group later on in the future. |

| I really want to see Rin swim butterfly, since it's apparently his best stroke. Maybe he can teach Rei and they can all be friends [sighs deeply] It was nice to see Rin finally realized he actually misses swimming with them. I honestly think what's emotionally best for him is to never race Haru (someone who doesn't swim for times) again because we see how bad he reacts to losing. That doesn't mean he can't just swim with them and actually [gasp] have fun. And yay for him not bragging about his win to Nitori and telling him to go kick some ass in his own race aw yeah friendship. Lol I want Rin to stay in Samezuka so he and Nitori can be bffs 4ever. I don't think they'll win the relay though. They didn't even practice. |
