| Man, you're really slow on the information, Oculus Rift has been around for awhile. It's the next step in gaming, but nowhere near, "NerveGear" or anything, so keep your pants on. This way you can move your head to look around and the way the screen is it looks much more like you are actually looking in the game. No, you can't control your character with your brain. OR litterally tricks your brain into believing you are inside the game(due to how the screens are positioned near the eyes), since brain interprets how real the situation is from visual cues alone, most of time. SO having the whole depth of field covered with VERY convincing illusion of depth, makes you react to what is in the game more like in reality.
