| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- discuss episode 16 here. i tought it was an ok episode. it was a little boring with the slow-mo fighting. |
| The slow motion fighting scenes were not directed and edited properly. Lots of Samurai movies use this technique to add some glory and/or dramatic feeling to the fights but usually they achieve this goal by adding a great and fitting music to the scenes and etc. I was also expecting Heihachi to die first but seems I was wrong. |

| But the slow mo thing isnt clear for me, Samurai 6.... too bad they lost a key samurai |

| I didn't dig the slo-mo fighting, they shoulda kept that segment shorter. Good episode, sad to see Gorobe go, Heihachi is in bad shape, Kanabe is off to do whatever. At least the bandits are pretty much taken care of. |

| So that's it for the bandits I suppose. Huh. Though the show has been entertaining enough so far, it really didn't feel like there was much tension during this battle, (if you could call it that) especially when comparing it to the original film. There never appeared to be any doubt that they were going to win. Well, let's see what they've got planned for the rest of the show. |
| This battle wasnt as good as i expected bcz of the slow motion fighting scene.. and many fighting scenes were just repeated which was kinda annoyin.. but its sad that Gorobe is gone.. I will miss how he always risked his lyf and caught the things shot at him.. |

I really liked his character. I am glad Heihachi's still alive, at least. I would have flipped if he died. And the slow-mo was really awkward. Like someone else mentioned, this episode's battle really didn't give me the sense of tension it should have. |

| The Slow motion was a good idea in theory, but yeah, I have to agree with most everyone else that it just wasn't done properly. And, yeah, this was kind of a disaster when you compare how this battle was done here to the movie. |

| Damn what a battle! But did they really kill of Gorobe? Damn :/ Pretty good development, let's see what's next. |
