| According to the official Pokemon website, to celebrate the release of the Nintendo 3DS game "Pokemon X.Y" on October 12th, a TV special named "Pokemon: The Origin" will air at 7pm on October 2nd on the TV Tokyo network. The story is based on the Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green games which are regarded as the origin of the Pokemon series. Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| I hope it gets good ratings because if it does, Ash/Satoshi will be gone for good and we'll get a full and definitive Pokemon experience in the future. The artstyle is a bit seinen-ish though so they could be gearing it more to us older fans. |

| Wow, it's like they made a Pokemon anime JUST FOR ME! (Or at least one that favors an older audience - Production IG and all) If they're adapting the Pokemon Adventures manga, it would make for a really cool series! Thank god it'll star Red and not that pussy ass bitch Ash haha. |
| Hope it can become a full series too. The thing I find the worst about the current anime is not necessarily Ash, just that it's the same protagonist for so long, so having something really different for a change is sure to be awesome. |

| The Pokemon Origin is darker and more exciting than the wishy-washy popular anime. I really hope this would be a full-length anime though. I would recommend checking out the manga for any Pokemon fans. |
