| I cannot even with this episode. It really showcased the potential of Tomoko's appearance, a tiny bit of the good and a lot of the bad. Earlier in the episode I thought "Holy shit, she could actually look good... with a lot of changes!" +_+ But then it we came back to reality and dear god... that ant hill for a face was the nastiest thing I've seen all season. |

| Well, she did in fact watch something with someone...and it seems she enjoyed herself...so, all is well that ends well? I was surprised to hear Hatsune Miku too, I don't think I have heard her in anime apart from Black Rock Shooter. 4/5, nice episode, not to mention we saw that Tomoko can be pretty. |

| Hahaha this episode was so funny. I was to lazy to discuss this but when i saw the cat scene hahahaha i need to discuss it and the ants part plus when she was peeking into some having sex scene hahaha if i saw one of my schoolmates filled with ants i wouldn't hesitate to kill the ants and just tell her that ants are crawling over you. :D |

| From what I could see in the closing credits, that was not Hatsune Miku (初音ミク) who was singing the ED. But she did her own cover version a while back which is not quite as good. Miku has quite a lot of trouble singing the faster parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df4i8hUxQ8M There are many, many cover versions on YouTube. Just search for the title of the song, which is 夏祭り. I think the best one is by Whiteberry in 2000. It was a big hit. The original version was by Jitterin' Jinn in 1990 and it was a huge hit. Nowadays that song is like an anthem in Japan, and they play it at every high school baseball game. For more explanation, see Post #51 by Mizokami. The Japanese lyrics together with the English translation is in Post #43 by Abecyo. |

They already omitted some interesting stuff from the manga chapters which were in the anime episodes we have seen. The best example is in the manga in chapter... For overseas distribution, I suggest that the entire crowded train scene be replaced by five minutes of "Nice Boat". I think that we have to respect the fact that societal values vary from country to country. |

| Oh my God, she does not have those eye spots and I was pretty damn sure that she will get rid of those near the end or once she will make some friends and become more popular and confident. She is so cute, even before she was cute. That reference... Didn't expect it xD That imagination deserves a salute. Clannad reference, those dango! A bunch of good looking guys did end up noticing her. This girl needs to have a whole harem, she belongs to shoujo genre. Or else, she needs to become Keima of this show. She needs to change her fate... What's with her slut definition? XD That awesome plan of hers but she got ignored as usual. God, I want to go with her at the festival... Her outfit in the flashback xD This is the first proper conversation she had with guys. God, the ending xD I think, Tomoko sang the ending sung in Miku's style and later it was editted. |

| Those cats were hilarious! Tomoko actually looks more cute without the baggy eyes, but I don't understand how they could just disappear like that, and those ants that were all around her, man I feel so bad for her. At least she got to see the fireworks with someone, but she also got a bonus as well xD That ending song was awesome, and now summer vacation starts! I wonder what Tomoko plans to do now :) |
