LMAO, Look at that, she sooo wanted to watch fireworks display with somebody, instead she get to watch couples having sex at a nearby love hotel on top nearby an adjacent build with 2 middle school boys.

How do you ruin a great episode? You put in Vocaloid shit at the end.

I think that qualifies as a happy ending ;-) All in all a surprisingly positive episode this week, even though it was mostly just a streak of optimistic misunderstandings.

As lazy and naive as her "play more otome games and wait for luck to strike" strategy was, it was actually the most effective one yet. She did something she liked, was more relaxed about other people and what might happen and actually interacted with people. Of course it didn't work out like she wanted, but at least it wasn't a total disaster as usual.

Yeah, I know how you feel, Tomoki. Once a person has annoyed you enough, you get annoyed even when there's no reason to ^^

Another funny episode.
I lol'ed at the ants all over her face scene and those cats.
Also I liked that ending.

Hopefully the 2nd half of this show is as good as the first.
Can't wait till the next episode.

I have heard that some horses lay over ant's nests on purpose to get bitten and get a high (as in drugs) out of all the ant venom. I think Tomoko was on such a high and therefore no longer felt or cared about the ants.



I feel atm Tomoko is so desperate that if a male, female, beast, youkai or ghost asks nicely she would say "YES OH PLEASE RIGHT NOW!"

Part of the fireworks was the best.

The ending was indeed composed by UtsuP (which made my fangirl side squee a little), but it's a new version. It's most likely Miku, however, it sounds more advanced because it's her append - not sure which one, but probably solid. Also, UtsuP got better at tuning her. I'm so happy they used a Vocaloid though. <3

And yes, the episode was great. The cat humping just made my day. I'm definitely enjoying a bit of black comedy this anime offers.

Thank you very much for sharing this information. I have been searching hard for
additional specific information about exactly what Utsu-P did for the ED, but I
have been coming up dry. In any case, there is a huge improvement of the vocal
quality compared to an older version of Hatsune Miku performing the same song.
So your comments make sense to me about it being "more advanced" and "better
tuned". I had not realized the large number of "appends" that are now available.

I'm so happy they used a Vocaloid though.

It sounds great to me. So clear and natural. I had no idea it was a vocaloid until
somebody else pointed it out.

So happy to see a bit of development, the bags under her eyes magically disappeared and she talked to two guys properly, don't think we'll get much further than that but at least the development is there.

Plenty of lol moments like the cats and the scene on the train.

Holy shit! This episode was amazing and that ending scene was hilarious, it was great. I'm loving the scenes with the brother his monologue is so funny.

The weirdest scene, definitely the the two dogs/cats (I forgot sorry ><) doing their thing.

My mouth dropped when I heard Miku singing Natsumatsuri. First, I was surprised they decided to use her for an ED. Next, I was surprised because I heard the song in many places but never knew what the song was called. Thank you, people in this thread.

Also, I lol'd when the replayed the guy's route and was speeding through it. That's usually how I play VNs; I don't wait for the character's voice to read out the whole text because they talk slower than I can read.
