That you will never get to experience being inside an anime or most of the things that goes on inside an anime isn't how it is at all...that's how I feel after watching am anime

And here I thought you were gonna ask a more interesting question like...
Do you ever get sad knowing that no matter what anime you watch or wait for it to come out it eventually ends,no matter how good it is it ends and you still have to move on with your life

No. The only reason anime is fun is because i can watch them from my bed and couch. If i had to personally go saving the world it wouldn't be any fan anymore. Btw you should also realize that anime worlds aren't different. A cute anime girl is a representation of a cute real girl etc, they are simple made with animation. So if you have some wish to be in an anime more than some live-action imaginary world then is not anime worlds that attract you but you simply just want to see everything in 2D. So how about feel bad our world isn't in 2D instead?

I just quickly get the realization that anime isn't real. And as much as I wish it were, anime couldn't exist in our world of realism. I love anime. just pointing that out.
"Canaan. You're a victim whose past was taken away by war. And she's a defeated person who lost her past in a power struggle. Soldiers who are born within destruction take hatred as their weapon. Even though you and her became soldiers for the same reason, you both live differently. Listen Canaan, you cannot counter hatred with hatred... ever." -Siam, Canaan

If I ever got to experience living in the world of most of the anime I watch, I'd be dead within two episodes max. I'm not fond of life, but I'm less of a fan of death, so no. I don't get sad.

I clicked thinking this could be a mature thread, but I just read such stupidity... there are so many things to be experienced in life and you feel sad for such triviality? Man...

Sometimes, I wish to be inside an anime world just to meet the characters that I adore so much. However... If I was thrown into that exact scenario... anime gods better give me some BADASS super power because some of my favorite anime... Hmm

Higurashi?

Elfen Lied?

So if you're not the main character, you're basically screwed.

The chances of me surviving in the world of Corpse Party is close to 0 lol. So I don't think so...

If the world has the Jigoku Tsushin... I think half the world might actually disappear lol. The other half will be sent to hell later lol. Enma Ai will be really busy though.
I'm an Avid Slice of Life fan, if you have any interesting SoL anime/manga to introduce, please do so ^^,

Sometimes I wish I could live in a certain anime world, but not always. Having awesome talents or something like that, would be cool, but it's not that I'm going to be sad about something unrealistic as that ^^

I'm surprised at most peoples replies lol... I'd say that most of you let the imagination inside of you die out (probably from watching kanon-clannad series b2b I know that pain). But the possibilities are endless I could join the One Piece world and obtain the "See Through-See Through" fruit ^____^ or even be a Titan Killer to protect my friend in Shingeki no Kyoujin or even join the Naruto world and scream "I'm going to be hokage" to everyone because thats how things get done.

Didn't know thinking rationally means you have no imagination.

Sure i can imagine being an anime world, that doesn't mean I'm gonna start getting sad about it?

Why is it that whenever I see someone who has Shiina Mashiro as their avatar, I instantly unconsciously deem them as an awesome person? O_O

Yes to a point. It depends on the world, some would be fun, others wouldn't be. And you probably wouldn't be a main character so you wouldn't be in all the main drama and in most you wouldn't want to be in the drama. That's part of the reason why we don't do these things but just watch them.
As an entity that can only watch but not be seen and can travel the world freely would probably be the best. Maybe add in the ability to materialize a little.
