Inoue Takehiko announced in his official blog that an extra epilogue of "Slam Dunk" will be published this year. The epilogue is called "SLAM DUNK 10 DAYS AFTER" and about an event happened ten days after the final episode of the manga series.

The epilogue was originally drawn by Inoue on the chalkboards of an abandoned high school in 2005 to celebrate 100 million copies of the sales of SLAM DUNK manga. The "Manga on the chalkboards" was displayed for three days to the public and more than 5,000 fans visited the closed high school to see the manga.

Inoue said this will be the last publication of SLAM DUNK related stuff.

After reading this news, I am extremely excited for the special chapter to be released.
Thanks for announcing it. :-3

It's too bad that it's the last publication of Slam Dunk though.

Now I want to know WHEN this chapter will be published...

I want to read it, cause I thought something was missing at the end of Slam Dunk

I'm happy that there will be a special chapter, but at the same time I'm sad that this will be the last publication of SLAM DUNK..

Dont know if I'm happy or not. I liked how it ended, and this runs the risk of tainting the manga if it doesnt live up to expectations.

Sometimes, you just have to know when to stop, you know?

But eh, bring it.

Wow, this is great news in a sense, even though they ended it on a good note an epilogue is always welcome, although it being the last publication is also a sad affair.

Ohh man, I have a friend who's going to go crazy when he hears about this. I'm a little excited about it too, since I plan to read Slam Dunk but heard that it ends a little abruptly. This epilogue might go a little way towards fixing that.

Nice... I already wanna read that epilogue... sounds like interesting... The ending is good but maybe this epilogue can make the ending, still I doubt it 'cause it's titled 10 DAYS LATER... sounds like a romantic course for me... well we have to wait then..
