Just curious, since I've seen countries with 6 bucks+ for a pack, which is like WHOA!

In Romania they range between 1-2 euros.

are you kidding? 1 euro for a 20 cigs packet?

in Italy it's 3.80 to something like 4.50 euros (Marlboro for example cost very much)

actually, givent he fact that euro has risen over 9000 times, it's less.
e euro=4.2 RON.
Cheapest packs are 3 RON, most expensive(Virginia Slims and the likes) are 7.
Marlobors are almost 6.

I live in Washington (the state, not the capitol), so I'm lucky. We have a lot of Indian Reservations around so I can pay six dollars for a pack of Marbs at a gas station, but ten miles away in an Indian Reservation it's three bucks.

Cartons I can buy for $21.00.

Yeah I've noticed MO is cheap for stuff like this (including alcohol :). When I drive out of state I can expect to pay much more.

is Euro the universal currency here? lol using the current rate, a pack of ciggy in Indonesia is not more than 0.6 Euros or US$0.7. Banzai.

But I'm living in Australia now so it's not relevant anymore. Here a pack costs about AU$10, about 5 Euros / US$6 (that's why I'm importing lol)

The prices for Pall Mall are just like in Poland [1,8 euro] . In fact. Almost all good brands have the same prices : Marlboro~ 1,8 to 1,9 euro ; Virginia Slims~ 1,9 euro ; Kent~1,8 euro etc etc... They'll be expensive in no time :| , but for now...they all range between 1,8 - 2 euro. And I'm talkin about good brands, not shitty ones ["Army" ; "Mărăşeşti" ; "Carpaţi" <- no filter, oh and they're romanian brands, so their names are a little weird ...] Anyway, those cheap cigars cost like ... 1 to 1,5 euro ?! [i don't actually buy , cuz i care for my health :)) ]

Sadly I have you most of you beat in the worst way possible. Chicago, IL USA it costs an average of US$9 per pack. The sin tax is horrible in the city. People buy cartons outside the city or even cheaper in the next state over. But the benefit is I quit because it got so expensive to smoke.

Yes, the price per pack in Chicago (the city) is nonsensical. The tax is average $1(US). In addition, you can't smoke inside anywhere (casinos, restaurants, clubs), which has a devastating impact on revenues. If you go to Naperville, a suburb which is about an hour and a half south of the city, they are a lot cheaper. Luckily I don't smoke.

I once especially drove to Lithuania to buy loads of smokes. It's incredibly cheap when compared to Latvia.

Here in Latvia, good smokes (Caines/Camel. I only smoke good ones) cost roughly 3+ € and in 2 months government will rise that up for around 10-12%, making it 3.30+ €
