| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This sucks. Jakou's henchmen were beaten and he stood alone. In earlier episodes he was going on and on and on about how he needs "More Light"(tm) because the pussy is scared of darkness... they could have just taken his eyes and left him running around blind for the rest of his life instead of this lame-ass execution. And Rin/Lynn got herself captured again. I was really confident in her when I saw her fighting in episode 1 or 2, with that cute crossbow that fires toothpicks and fits so neatly in a handbag. I guess my expectations were too high. I don't know what to say about the last five minutes tho. Kenshiro got those cool gloves and goggles and they tell us that he's gonna cross "The Dead Sea" to fight another enemy... a preview of the next episode just before the ending and the preview of the next episode? And you Naruto fans complain about fillers. |

| This makes me really want to read the manga. There's no way Jakou got off with such a light death in the original. |
| So Buggy The Clown...ahem Jakou is finally dead but in a fairly lame way. Kenshiro is now off to fight a bunch of other people on some evil continent O_o |

| I was flipping through the manga for this section of the anime and it looked like Jakou got his face melted off, but he was still alive. Don't know what happened to him after that. |

| Jakou ended up downright pathetic in this episode (not that the dude who was afraid of the dark inspired much confidence before). Quite a big change from the well written villains of part 1 like Shin, Souther, and Raoh. |

| Oh yes, finally ! Jakou is dead, what a boring opponent he was, and his death was as ridiculous as him. Aska will be a strong girl I think. |

| Jakou got what he deserved. Lynn got kidnapped and brought to some dangerous lands, I wonder for what purpose Hopefully Kenshiro won't destroy that glove like he destroys his clothes |

| Looks like I spoke too soon... Another damnsel in distress... AGAIN... First Yuria, now Lin. They're taking my least favorite part of the first series and doing it again; At least I'm liking the animation a little better and I'm kinda invested. Also, Jakoh was pretty much a caricature of a weak villain who doesn't have much when push comes to shove. I liked him, and it was nice seeing him die. To me, the real "villain" was Falco, until the moment it wasn't. Like Vegeta in Dragon Ball, but not as great. |
