| Jiraiya and Naruto under the tree was gorgeous, but content wise, there was nothing, completely nullifying the trip. |

| yeah...this episode was lame as hell. Get to the story already so we can go on with the REAL story please. However, i gotta say... Horriblesubs is doing a great great job with the subs. They get them out quick, the quality is top notch. They're soft subs. 480p and 1080p available! I got nothing to complain about. I hope they keep doing it. |

| this episode might have seemed boring, but it gets to show that there was some sort of farewell between jiraya and naruto. additionally it seems that this filler session will cover the gap that exists between naruto's current strength and the amount of time it took to train him. |
| Taka subs are ok. I use them. Anyway, 20 min waste, what a crappy episode. |

| ridiculous episode - not in the good sense. why are they doing this? that beginning of the ep was... i was watching it, horrified, and thinking.... what the hell am i watching? the only good part was with jiraiya, but i guess it only makes sense to those who read manga, otherwise it's not so meaningful to the others... i just hope this filler arc is over really soon. |

| I think after watching naruto for so long, we pretty much have to be used to boring eps here and there... hopefully the production staff is just devoting time to animating something really impressive in the next couple eps. The tree scene through us a bone to tide us over. I'm guessing that the two elements the frogs will use will be fire and earth (as opposed to water). It's pretty obvious when you think about their colors and attitudes. It's been pretty clear that there are frogs for different elements after watching Jiraiya summon so much. I'm kinda curious what the hell the point of the creepy kid following Kabuto is... seems like kind of a parallel to Guren's animalized henchmen and yet we know nearly nothing about either. They tried to get us to better know the henchmen in this ep, but it's hard to relate to characters you know are just fodder to be killed off shortly. Nothing changes, I guess... |

| I really loved the the tree scene; even more so because it made me think of Jiraiya's upcoming fight (Should they ever get off the filler train). Good quality animation too. Hopefully it'll never go back down... |
| Well I was having dinner while I watched this episode so that kept me from falling asleep. The episode was all BS except for the under the tree scene, that was iconic. (Specially for the pople who read the manga) I guess we have to hang in there while the filler storm passes. -_- |
