Also, I kinda liked the intensity of the latter half of the episode. The battle was decent I guess, hi Rider. Poor Illyasviel ;.; Cool girl spotted at the end ~ |

| Fucking Lord El-Melloi II!!! Animated in all his grumpiness and long haired goodness. He's all grown up now. It was only last year that we saw you fight. Oh how you've grown. And knowing about what he's become is sure to make someone proud...and will probably break his heart. And it's only his hand but fucking Zelretch as well. This is too much for me... The episode was okay. It handled Illya's adjustment to the whole mahou shoujo thing and it's not all fun and sparkles like she thought. Rin isn't as thorough with her explanations here. She bombarded Shirou with explanations during the 3rd night of F/SN. Well it is Shirou I guess but anyways... Lol, Asakawa Yuu credited in the ending even though all she did as Rider is growl, scream and say a single word. How much did she get paid in this episode I wonder. The fight was decent. Not much action but it was animated well. It was the same as the manga I guess and this was an easy fight due to... Miyu!! That few seconds of her dashing towards Rider was exhilarating. That Gae BulgesBolg was awesome. And doing it like a boss. It ended the same place as the manga did so it's all good. Great episode overall. And first Akira Ishida, now Bunbun as the ending card art. Great stuff there. |

| I thought this anime will be some moeshit or a kind of it, but when i watch the battle it reminds me a bit of staynight and zero. well, i wanted some action for this anime and it came true. lol. but for different perspective, i really like the cuteness though, i just said 'moeshit' cause lately not much anime has an interesting story while maintaining its cuteness. and somebody please post a picture when ilya was smiling when ruby told her, she was very cute :3 |

| The one who even thought of putting glasses on Rin should be shot!! In any case funny episode like how Rin isn't very helpful towards Ilya in learning her about magic still you have to love her personality. That love letter was pretty funny especially Ilya's reaction. Seeing as this is only ten episodes will it only cover the first manga? |

Yeah since it is only 10 episodes i guess they are only doing the first manga though so far 1 chapter per episode with there being 13 chapters in all for the first series of the manga, which is quite a bit shorter than the 2nd series of the manga that was 27 chapters. It is a shame it wont go further since it really starts to get even better from series 2 onward. Series 3 PRISMA☆ILLYA 3rei!! has been really good so far. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Being a magical girl is serious business. Wow Rider was a formidable opponent for Iliya. Thankfully the other magical girl ( Sapphire's owner)...soon to be rival/friend stopped Rider's Noble Phantasm with Lancer's Gae Bolg strike |

| Am I the only one that thinks that this is a lot like CCS? Well, okay episode. I liked the fighting but everything before that was a little bit boring. ^^;; |

That's why the mascot is a troll and looks like CCS wand and why the lead girl is so genre-savvy. Hence references to both Nanoha and CCS abound(since Illya is the type of person who most likely marathon-watched both nanoha, CCS and madoka). Apart from self-aware comedy, the main interest in the show is noticing all those known characters from both FSN and Fate/Zero(like how this episode had both Waver and Zelretch and how we have both Luvia and Rin in the main cast) and trying to figure out at which point in fate/zero did this manga timeline diverge and how. |

| I am enjoying this show very much. Illya is too cute! I was not interested in Fate series so much, but this spin-off is hilarious. Can't wait for ep3 |

| Pretty nice episode. 4/5 I really enjoyed the second half of the episode. The whole entire dimension transferring scene and rider getting summoned and about to pull off that strong attack reminded me of some good stay night/zero action. Especially the BGM during those scenes reminded me a bit of zero. They still had that "this is a magical girl show" comedy scene in the middle of the battle but meh, I can deal with it. Good to see they still had blood though. |

Also when Illya ran away from Rider before he first beam it was a sprint in the manga rather than random Scooby Doo chase scene and her multiple beam shot was more like a carpet bombing in the manga which was alot more impresive. Though all said and done it was a good episode it was just a few small things that i thought could of been done better. Miyu's stare when she stabbed Rider was awesome. It is a shame the anime is only covering the first part of the manga it is parts Wei and Rei that are the best part of the manga. |

| Pretty cool episode, finally a real fight. It was pretty enjoyable. Can't wait to see the new character. I liked when Illya thought of Rin in the outfit, and Rin's reaction. I also really liked the OST that played for a short time immediately following that scene. I really like the character design of this series, especially Rin (who is now my favorite character of the series). |
