| The most recent volume of Dorohedoro revealed that the next volume, the 19th, will be the last volume of the series. Creator Q Hayashida has been working on the series since 1999, running in Ikki Magazine. Viz is currently releasing the series in the U.S. through its Sig Ikki line. | It's been pretty clear that it's coming to a close soon for a while, I think. I'd rather it have an ending than end up pointlessly dragged out. I can't wait to see whatever Hayashida does next though. |

It would have to be an OVA unless you want shadow censors everywhere in every episode. At least in that case it would be ok on the BDs. As much as I'd love a good, faithful anime with an actual budget I doubt that'll happen so it's probably better it stays as just manga. |
