Such epic Scarlet Angels!! I definitely prefer Maya's, but Ayumi's is just breathtakingly beautiful.

Again, Ayumi has the technique and practice of the part, but Maya has captured the heart and soul of it.

Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

Holy shit, Maya and Ayumi exploded in drama. I can't say I'm totally surprised @ Ayumi's revelation that she despises Maya. She's still a genius though but definitely lacking self esteem now.

And then they suddenly start fighting like grade schoolers, even though they're supposed to have graduated high school already and they achieve a better understanding of each other.

I'd say it's cliché, but this anime started in 1976, not sure it was already a cliché then.

Not a fan of this The Scarlet Angel play so far.

The flashback showed that Maya hasn't aged at all.

Ayumi has revealed herself to Maya, I think pressure is starting to sink in on her. She won that fight though.

I'm glad they laughed about it at the end.

I don't know why but I really loved the fight scene, it was more realistic than most in anime and had so much passion.

The Scarlet Angel... I'm not feeling it at all. Like I'm bored. Out of all the plays, it's the most underwhelming and most supernatural? The scenes don't feel like acting anymore. I know they are using metaphors and they been using them throughout the series but this feels the most forced. I guess that's what happens when you hype up a play, not everyone will appreciate the hype.
