| I don't know what people are talking about. The anime doesn't need a remake at all, that would just take away from what it means in the Anime Industry, and as a story that takes place in Historical Japan. It was actually successful (specifically the Kyoto Arc) and it would ruin the whole aura/memory if it was re-done imo. What Rurouni Kenshin DOES need is the Jinchu/Enishi arc continuation in OVA format or as an Anime series sequel. That's where they can showcase all their up to date flashiness/art. No one should even touch the anime before Kyoto Arc, or the Tsuiokuhen OVAs. Though if it was re-done, I wouldn't have any complaints personally and I'd definitely watch it. I just don't think it's necessary and it will take away from what the original means. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to all the live action movies. |
