I think Chihaya should also be quite proud of herself to just how far she has come. Lol @ Shinobu's face btw this episode behind Arata. Oh God. 8/10 for this series. I want a fucking season 3. | And of course the second season ends with some old fashioned Taichi suffering haha Overall a great season continuing where the 1st left off and concluding some of the character arcs. The team tournament did hamper its quality though because the show became more about Karuta itself and less on the character development which made the show as excellent as it was. At its best, Chihayafuru is a character drama about a group of people who just happen to play karuta not karuta or the poems themselves though they are integrated into the drama well I wish Tsukuba and Hanano played bigger roles throughout but nonetheless they are excellent additions to the main cast. Not quite as good as the first season but still has that polish few shows do 8 Suffering Taichis out of 10 Keep trying Eromu I'm sure you'll swoon Sakurazawa eventually : P Can't wait for the OVA |

And if they'd ended it where I thought they would, with the "I will always love Arata." line then he would have won as far as anime only watchers were concerned but then I was amazed to see them go further to the boot camp where Oe sent the two of them. Honestly there was more character development in this episode than in the rest of the season! Amazine season, 9/10 for me. Can't wait for the OVA and season 3. I bought the first BD box, bought the first season, will be the second BD box for this season, have bought all the manga and will continue to do so. If I can buy anything... I have bought the cards too! And the light novels! And the soundtrack CDs! If I can help to make season 3 happen by buying stuff then I will surely do it! With the end of book 17 all by animated I think winter 2015 is the earliest we can hope for a 2-cour season. They could do one cour winter 2014 but I'm not sure if it would work or not. |
| Episode was quite fun and enjoyable despite the pacing being a tad rushed. This anime isn't really a romance series but now we've got a definitive love triangle going on. I have to say this was the best anime of the winter/spring 2013 season and I'm going to miss this series. Season 3 please!! Final rating: 9/10 |

| This episode was a strong fininsh to the series. The way that they ended it makes it seem like they have no choice but to make another season. Unfortunately, Taichi doesn't seem to stand a chance against Arata unless he uses Kana's advice to pick up the pace. :/ It's obvious that he really likes Chihaya. Yet, for the longest time, Arata and Chihaya have been oblivious to everything besides karuta. Chihaya even starts realizing that she has feelings for Arata when she's thinking about... karuta. Don't misunderstand me, I have taken a liking to that game, but that type of outlook on love seems shallow to me. However, to each their own opinion. |

| Dawwww... I wanted more with that ending......I WANTED MORE Q ___ Q I swear... I love Tachi and Chihaya so much... I hope Im not in that much of denial, but when Chihaya said she loved Arata.. I feel more of a friend sort of way.. I too love Arata... but then I read the poems she wrote about Arata... fml... I love how in this show they didnt make Chihaya and Arata COMPLETELY CANON (praise the lord). Even Kana is rooting and believing that Taichi can win in the end ; u ; I always believe he can win in the end. I feel, EVERYONE in this show ships Taichi and Chihaya rofl... Oh Kana with her support <3 I believe there is always room for change... | wow! this is how u do a season's final episode! absolutely loved the whole 2nd season.. best anime of winter/spring seasons for me too..i can give this a solid 9/10 |
| To tell you the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a third season. They picked a good spot to end this season. Kana is so mature. It is unfortunate that she didn't really get much screen time this season. Taichi... I still believe in you man. Great things are coming towards you.... |

| Inside a room isolated from the summer heat, I feel bliss upon hearing your words Wow... That was deep on Chihaya's part.. I love that haiku.. And thus she confesses her longing. What pulls Chihaya to Arata, pulls Taichi to Chihaya... This is hard. And I'm really feeling their intensity. I guess Chihaya has seen Taichi as a sort of a "brother figure/partner-in-crime" after all. Hmm.. She'll be so confused if he reveals his feelings for her. Season 3... I hope it's soon.. I don't know how long I can hold out from reading the manga now.. :/ |

| Really good conclusion for the season. I want a 3rd season now!! But well I think it'd be better to wait for more material. Anyway the anime has reached the mangas translated parts now so I can finally read :D Loved the scene when Kana felt the ChihayaxArata vibes and how she was cheering Taichi on hehe. But really poor Taichi...his chances seem to be getting slimmer and slimmer. Especially after what Arata told Chihaya...about how he always remembers the moment he and Chihaya had in that apartment. I liked the way Sakurazawa noticed Taichi. Oh also nice to see Mizusawa winning a lot of rankings. |

| Great episode, good way to end the season and make us want a 3rd one. If anything I want to read the manga more now. I loved the throw back to the original opening. :) |

Well yeah...Chihayafuru's 1st season didn't really sell much. But it increased the manga sales prominently so that's why they probably decided to do a S2...if that's how it is...then a S3 isn't impossible. |

| Great episode, even it was more for ArataxChihaya fans ^^ I'm a deep TaichixChihaya fan, or just... Taichi's?.. Don't know, I really want him to be happy :) Anyway, I should stop talking about love staff. Nice ending to the whole season which I give 8/10. Unfortunately, I found it less interesting than the 1st one. New characters were funny and captivating but seemed out of place 'cause they didn't get much attention (probably in manga as well, I don't read it). Team tournament was the best! And all the Queen's moments. Hope for the 3rd season. |

| SEASON 3 PLEASE. 10/10, the amount of hype i've had this season was just mind-blowing. | The pace of this episode was just the way I liked it - fast and furious! But overall, I did like the first season better because of the focus on friendships and relationships as well. I now hope to God there will be a third season. PS: Arata is coming out on top, isn't he... Dem poems... |

| I liked this episode the most out of all the others thus far, because it was really sweet when Chihaya Seemed like there was some chemistry between Arata and Chihaya when he said that whenever he plays Karuta whether official or practice match, it brings him back to the old apartment, playing against Chihaya for the first time, where it was his most enjoyable and fun moment playing Karuta. I also really enjoyed the latter poems written and narrated by Chihaya about Arata. Probably one of my favourite scenes from the show. Kana Oe seems to be a Taichi x Chihaya shipper. Not surprising because she and him know each other from school and club, unlike Arata that lives in a different prefecture. Pacing of the show could have been a bit better, but I think they chose to leave it off at a good point in the story. Now I'm curious about the training camp. Need season 3!!!! ...until then, I guess I have to settle for the manga and upcoming ova. Edit: Being Taichi is suffering. |

| "I will always like/love karuta/arata" That's still ambiguous to me since you can't really love karuta in the traditional romantic sense. It can still go either way in the love triangle, at least I think so. But then again, they've been building up this tension between Chihaya x Arata for quite a while now where we couldn't really see much concrete insight into what the relationship was between the two. This episode made it a lot more clear that these two might have romantic feelings towards each other. Based on how anime/manga usually end with this kind of build up, I'm gonna guess Arata is going to get the girl in the end. |
| Great episode to end the season. Can't believe it's already over. I sure hope we will get a 3rd season. |
