| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ding! Dong! The BITCH is dead! Fucking called it from last chapter but as I expected, they still try make you sympathize with Seryuu on her last moments. Both battles were a bit anti-climactic but that Mein X Tatsumi scene was adorable. Hopefully this means we're going to get a bit more Esdese from now on. |

| Holy...was that a beam blade? The do-or-die duel ends. No way the other girl on the cover of Volume 1 will die now Mein finally avenges Schere. That hypocrite Seryuu finally meets her end. Celebrations were heard around the world. Tatsumi ended his fight a little faster than expected by thinking outside the box - burying his enemy alive; allowing him just enough time to save Mein in a classic last minute rescue. Is this the red thread of fate, or what? |

| Good god, there were 2 awesome double pages in this chapter! First one with Seiryuu cut in half, FINALLY!! And the second one with Tatsumi carrying Mein saving her from that explosion! This chapter was too epic and I've been waiting for a long time to see Seiryuu & Koro get defeated. Cut in half, eh? After what she did to Schere, I can finally rest easy. But yeah, the author really wants the readers to feel sorry for Seiryuu too, after seeing the kids look for her at the end of the chapter. This would probably be the same for every member of Jaegers after they die one by one. x_x; Mein's smile was super cute. <3 Oh, and I'm not really impressed with Tatsumi's battle in this chapter. xD I mean, really? |

| This chapter really made me like Mein a lot. I liked Seryuu just because of how nuts she was but I'm definitely happy she died and not Mein. Kuro was fucking weird though, I mean those teeth... |

| Haha, seems nobody really liked her. It wasn't so much her personality as a whole that I didn't like, more her over the top bs armaments. I mean that rocket thing was stupid, but I've liked everything else from the other characters. Well, generally anyway. I've never been a fan of somebody always yammering on about justice, especially when they are warped in the mind and whatnot. Tosen from Bleach is another moronic justice driven character, so glad he got killed too. |

| That Tatsumi x Mein scene, heartwarming. Personally thought the fight between Mein & Seiryuu was intense. Had a feeling Mein was going to be next fallen victim for Night Raid, but i was relieved that wasn't the case. Seryuu is gone, and thank god for that. She was a good villain, as she had a twisted-personality with a one sided perception on who were good/evil. She also did manage to annoy me a few times in some cases but I guess that is part of the agenda of being a villain |

| As much issues as it has, i have to say the way they develop both sides is brilliant and there's a genuine tension not knowing who might die next, not to mention the incredible art. The manga just conveys these things a lot better than the anime, which i felt a bit too cheesy and forced in certain moments. |
