Highest quality possible unless it's older shows, which I'll settle for SD if there's no update. I'm a HD/Blu Ray snob. Visuals are a huge factor for me (unless it's older shows).

Bad vision, so to me there is little difference between the Ds.

Although, I'll buy BDs in order to save shelf space.

Anything below 480 I can't stand. I try watch everything in 720.

I don't mind a lower resolution, but I'll stretch it or zoom in (whatever) if possible to get rid of black bars.

I think it's only natural, HDTV/Monitor... prefer HD Content on my HDTV/Monitor...

One of the last series I watched was like 960x720 or some weird resolution like that, but unfortunately I couldn't do anything about it since I was streaming it/watching from PC. So I just had to deal with the huge ass black bars.

Eventually I ended up forgetting they existed as I focused on the middle throughout the episodes.

I only get DVD if there's no Blu-ray of a release. And that was the case when I got the DVD of 5 Centimeters Per Second. Even though it was a great movie, it looked bad. Seriously, a film that relies that heavily on it's visuals should at least be on BD. After converting to Blu-ray its difficult to watch DVDs anymore. What's even more frustrating is when people can't even tell the difference.

I find myself watching on my Android phone sometimes (I like the vibrant displays of my phone more than on my TV), so then it doesn't really matter whether it's 720p or 1080p.

But definitely on bigger screens I'll go for HD, if not available, SD on phone is good too.

HD / MAX QUALITY - All the way.
I don't care about file sizes that much. (Although I do tend do avoid CoalGirls' excessive bloat when there are suitable alternatives)
I can always buy more hard drives to store my vast collection of downloaded anime - it's more economical than actually buying anime 😁

320x240 pixel old anime master race!

I just need 720p if possible or 480 at absolute minimum.
1080p took too much bandwidth and space and my eys are not so keen detect the different.

Only difference here is I tend to modify codec abit to make colour more saturated and edge a bit sharpen.
Watching style atm:

1. Mindless Gaming + Anime streaming with dual monitor
2. Focused + Anime binged watching with speed up
3. Couch / Bed Anime watching with large TV
4. Relaxing in virtual cinema with VR.

Not really matter. But tp watch very special anime, i try to watch as good as possible. Orelses half of my anime were finished watching 360p.

watching 360p doesnt make me 720p and 1080p too different.Only problem lies with sound quailty!

I honestly don't mind. If the series is good I really won't give a damm the resolution. I don't watch shows for pretty colors.

But to be honest, I guess anything under 360p starts looking annoying.

I have no issue with 480p if that's the best there is, but lower then that it 'ehhhh'.
Otherwise, please give me the a version that's at least 720p, if not 1080p. I enjoy seeing stuff fully presented the way it as intended, with the best possible tech available.
