I don't think there is a reason to not watch any particular genre of anime, it is only entertainment after all and it all comes down to personal taste in the end. |

| Probably the only "Moe" anime i have bothered watching is Nichijou, because i consider most of them plain garbage. Then again, Nichijou would probably be a slice of life and not considered pure "moe". The only genre of moe anime i would watch is comedy. |

| I usually avoid shows with majority of the girls being sexualized loli moe type characters. Don't get me wrong, I love watching ecchi anime and I'm not saying I haven't seen any loli moe ecchi anime but I do try to avoid them and they do tend to bore me after a point since I'm not much of a ecchi loli fan. Need some variety. One or two is fine but when the entire cast is half naked little girls doing cute shit, it's a bit too much for me. Example would be Ro Kyu Bu. |

| I think I've watched at least one series that would be considered moe - can anyone bored enough to look at my list verify this for me? I have no outright aversion to such things, I'll give pretty much anything a shot outside some exceptions. |

A design that's cute-- like a kitten-- and meant to make you want to cuddle and protect the character. Azusa from K-ON is moe. Nagisa from Clannad is moe. Hell, even male characters can be moe as well. A 'moe anime' is just a show that focuses on these types of characters. I guess. It's a stupid and vague term since there's no clear distinction between what makes a show a 'moe' anime rather than just an action or comedy. Plenty of serious titles have moe characters in them. Look at Steins;Gate for example-- nobody calls that a moe anime. |

| Hate to break it to you, but just because an anime contains a moe character does not make it moe. Never Seen Higurashi so won't comment on it but I'm pretty sure your confusing what defines a moe character with what defines a moe anime. |
