Anime series with well thought out plot and characters.

Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions is also a very complex and well thought out anime. Some people say it’s plain. It’s really not. And last, but certainly not least, is My Teen Romantic Comedy Wasn’t How I Expected. OreGairu for short. A lot of the fans don’t understand the main character’s point of view, but it’s pretty good. It’s very well thought out and the main protagonist’s way of doing things is complex yet incredible that someone has the guts to do the things he does. People either hate or love this anime. All these anime are short or somewhat short, so you don’t have to worry about how long it’ll take. After seeing a few episodes, you’ll be hooked and you’ll finish them in 1-7 days depending on what you do between each episode.
