I loved this movie. The art was distinct and the story was cute. Love the fantasy setting and sound effects as well. I hope to find another movie that has the same feel.

Interesting to see some of Miyazaki's early animation work. Well done.

Disney animation art was pretty good. it reminded me a bit of pinocchio. the only flaw in the movie was I knew exactly what was going on the very minute I saw it, but I guess kids would not pick it up so it evens itself out. solid film

That was such a weird movie. For the longest time I thought the kid was just dead after getting hit by the car. Maybe that would've been too dark for a kid movie... That was some nice animation for the time too, definitely wasn't expecting something fancy when I started it.

I can't unsee how the art reminded me of Wind Waker. I pretty much associated the kid with Link during the entire movie.
