Again no thread?

Anyway, Goro should have broken out the story about his dad, hell even his own injury before rushing to the school. I wonder where this will lead with 4 episodes left.

This school seems to have more than its fair share of unpleasant people XD

Goro does some crazy things sometimes, but I guess that's just his personality.

It's been a while since there's been tragedy/drama, looks like this is a nice reminder that this series hasn't forgotten about it. Goro just keeps falling into trap after trap, although the assistant coach's ideology seems to align more with what Goro wants anyway so I wonder if there's more to him than what Shizuka said.

I wonder if they will ever find out that Goro actually used to be right handed until a shoulder injury, that Shizuka girl seemed to treat a shoulder injury as being "the end", but Goro sure as hell wouldn't agree with that. Also not really sure how he "died" from overpitching, but whatever, guess the older brother needed to die to make this current situation in Kaidou justifiable.

I hate that director and her sob story. I'm liking the dangerous assistant coach though.

People who push their glasses up are always evil, it's a given fact. I also push my glasses up, therefore I'm evil too.

It's funny because on one hand, you have a system that kill the potential of players. On the other, you have a guy who want to propulse his juniors into the Major, no matter if they are ready or not.

Wait, so did the kid die from exhaustion? They mentioned that his shoulder/arm was ruined but that wouldn't kill him >_>

As for creepy glasses guy, always beware of people who do the shiny anime glasses adjust lol.

Drops dead from pitching... Really??
At least give him a heart condition or something!
Hate it when someone just dies with little to no explanation, it's just lazy writing.

Yea, that was the bad part of the story. i felt like they are trying to force drama down our throats.

After the tragic story their actions make even less sense. They make it sound like they care for the players, but their methods indicate otherwise. Up until now we were made to believe that they only care about percentages and winning.

The way the assistant coach talked to Goro near the end spells trouble. Based on Shizuka's story, he's what Goro wants, but will he be what Goro needs? We'll find out soon enough.

And nr.4 isn't a pushover.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Haha. Excellent point good sir. Guess she forgot about her school sending kids to a remote island where they're practically trained to death.. totally skipped her mind.

so he is a guy after all...
an as her brother said, their manual doesn't help anyone but them, it's should be the player decision how to play and risk himself, our fine example is goro.
and i actually though that goro will win that #4.

Sad sob story on the brother and all but this looks more like a case of overexhaustion and not a shoulder/arm injury, even more them caring for their players totally doesn't align with the Dream island training to death we've seen so far. Kinda wish Goro told them about his tragedy on his dad and also his right shoulder injury to show his resolve.
