People hate dying. They hate killing, too. They don`t like making others cry, or crying themselves. How must it feel to not be able to choose one`s life? What about when family dies? Or when a loved one dies? Nobody wants those things. Yet , the world laughs and hungers for such suffering. I`ve never had a burning desire to change something. But it would be sad to live whithout change. I dont want to lose anything else.. It`s a pain , but i think it`s about time we moved forward. I`ve averted my eyes until now, but.. If i have to, I`ll take a hard look at my own past. To achieve a world where nobody ever loses anything. - Ryner Lute (TLOTLH)

You'll be hard pressed to find one of those that's not hentai or something.

The only thing I can think of that even comes close is Shigurui.

Well, there is School Days, as one interpretation as an anime with an evil main character.

Kaze no stigma - MC is more cocky and bastardly than evil, but since original creator of the series died mid-way, second part isn't so good and he lost due to that his personality.

I think this could be an interesting dynamic, but it seems like even the most seemingly villainous protagonists are ultimately treated as antiheroes, which are totally different from bad guys.

He is not evil he is an anti-hero.
