| Probably the most visually pleasing anime I've seen. The atmosphere of this movie just hits me at home, that feeling of a rainstorm on a sunny day is something I've always loved. There's something about rain that's just so calming. Akizuki feels uncertain about his future whereas Yukino feels like she's been stuck in this routine for 12 years. To see these two characters meet each other and impact their lives so much just because they sought cover from the rain on a day was great. The smallest of interactions can impact our lives. The animation and the use of focused shots really elevated this movie even more, every scene felt like a treat. I absolutely loved this movie, even if the confession and ending felt a bit rushed (which is to be expected from it's runtime) |
