This was mentioned in another thread, so by innovative demand, here we have a place for members of this club to post their (legally-owned, of course) video collections. It's up to you if you want to limit it to anime or not, but whatever you do, keep in mind that it makes it a lot easier for people to browse if it's in alphabetical order--or some kind of order, anyway. If you get something new, feel free to brag about it here and update your original post with new content.

Here I go!

DVD Collection

VHS Collection

Urusei Yatsura/Those Obnoxious Aliens [Animeigo Dub]

That's all I got. Also please don't ask about Full House--it's a long story.

Back when I was buying it on DVD in 2008-2009 There were only 20 episodes on DVD. I got told by someone on another anime site that it wasn't popular enough to continue. If it was released in its entirety at some point I missed it.

It really hits home how much I have when I write it all out. I guess this is what happens if you have a steady paycheck and you have no place to go. It’s even crazier when I realized I only started buying anime two years ago.

Also if you’re wondering, I’ve only watched about 2/3 of what I own.

Well the figure prices depend on the company that makes them, materials, and size. Generally Figures are going to be at 1/8th scale using a PVC plastic material. With that as the basis you are usually looking at $60-$70 for the figure with about $10 shipping from Japan (This is only for pre-ordering figures, I do not include buying them off amazon, ebay, etc.) I tend to only use this site because it is a very reputable company http://www.1999.co.jp/eng Now, I don't personally have a glass case to display mine since I am in college and don't have the Space. I would recommend one, but I just keep mine on my shelf of anime and make sure to dust them about once a week. If you do start buying them remember to always keep the box. Throwing away that box diminishes the figures value if you ever try and resell it.

Thanks for the reply, Tomoki. I'd love to collect figures someday, but I have hardly any space to put them and I don't want my parents to see. Also money is tight and I'd rather focus my budget on anime and manga at the moment.

Well when I started Collecting them a good while back I only lived with my Mom and she never said a word to me about them. She knows what I am into and I think she understands that it is not something she will understand. I do wonder what shes thinks when she just sees my shelf with them on there, but alas I am no Mind reader.

Ikaros is Second to Nymph for me. Nymph has such an amazing progression of emotion and feelings during the show that make me love her over Ikaros. Although Ikaros does evolve as a character even with her lack of emotion, I find Nymph to be a stronger character to the series by showing the cruelty of the handlers and how their abusive power makes her feel inadequate. With that she wants to take her anger on others but finds humans can be kind and caring which conflicts her beliefs. These reasons and more are why I prefer her over the others. This does not mean I dislike Ikaros in anyway, it is a close race. This figure was just at such a lower price than usual and I jumped on it.

All of K-on is gonna run you about $120 if you got the Anime Legends version of season 1 and the DvD versions of season 2. To about $190 for the Blu-Rays. I'd hold off on that one unless you plan on buying in groups. Even though Haruhi is out of Print you can get it for anywhere from $70 for the Anime Legends version of season 1 +season 2. To $90 if you sprung for the collectors box of season 1. Of course the movies for each of those are about $20 each at least. Those are gonna cost you quite a bit. Death Note and Spice and wolf are luckily pretty cheap. And for the most Episodes for your buck. The Yu-Yu-Hakusho DvDs is a great choice.

USD? Or Australian currency?

It depends on the movie and where you're buying them. Amazon is usually the cheapest option, and I'd say they run about $20 on average there. Maybe a little less.
