| Oh how I've been dreading this episode because you knew it was inevitable. But holy crap they went pretty damn graphic with the accident IMO. When I first saw it, I thought there's no way she could survive. Although since we've all seen the original Kanon we all know what happens. By the way, Akiko is one of my unsung favourite characters of the series since she's always there but doesn't really get much screen time. You just got to love her calm demeanor. Anyways, a pretty good episode overall and looking forward to the next one. |
| I haven't seen the original and I'm not going to. You're right though, when I saw that accident I was pretty much shocked. But I liked how they filled this episode with Nyuu~'s and Nayuki / Akiko screen time :D. Gotta love Kanon 2006 for that. The whole ep was pretty peaceful so I didn't really expect something this drastic to happen at the end since I don't know the story line. However, I'm -as always- I'm looking forward to next week. |

Consider yourself lucky you didn't see the original. Things would be really predictable if you did. We all knew this was coming but the creators of Kanon were teasing us before. Remember that episode where the preview for the next episode showed Ayu running to Yuuichi screaming that something happened to Akiko? Well I'm sure the people who've seen the original immediately thought that she got hit by the car already. That wasn't to nice :P, although a welcomed change. |

| no one explicitly gave any spoilers but some stuff was strongly hinted. just be careful in general you know ;) Um, yea so I just rewatched the previous Kanon scene where Akiko got hit, and it's nowhere near as graphic as this. I mean, the first time we see a car and the camera zooms into Akiko's eyes. This time it was crazy with the whole Burnout Revenge/GTA thing you know? Kimi Ga Nozomu Kanon, this episode was indeed (at least that's what #Eclipse said) anyway, this episode I completely loved because we see many parts of the Nayuki story that was kicked to the curb in the first Kanon. It's good to see Yuuichi isn't a total jackass to Nayuki like he was the first time. GOD, the first time it was just...horrible. But you know...Kanon has killed off every other girl...or nearly incapacitated them, up to the end of this episode with Akiko. Nayuki's the only one left! As AoMM says, with Mai there was a dance. With Shiori there was a peck on the cheek. With Ayu there was a passionate kiss. That means the next step for Nayuki is...WIN!! XD Mwhahahhahahha Nayuki pwns all. So anyway, Nayuki's so awesome that she's supporting Yuuichi with Ayu even though she fully realizes his feelings for her and Yuuichi was such a dick to her in the past. It's too bad Jun ruined a potentially awesome moment between them when Yuuichi was beginning to remember why Nayuki cared so much about the broken snow rabbit. and...OMFG Nayuki falling asleep in front of Yuuichi...and going all moe Nyuu~~ Goddam Yuuichi shoulda tapped that she was all willing too how could he resist???!!! Oh well at least in the game we know he doesn't. XD yeah I want a cousin like Nayuki... anyway next episode is gonna be very difficult |

| asandari, it isn't gorey or anything. Think the Akiko scene, IRL. It's really harsh, but the comments did make me lol xD "Akiko, Noooo!" lol. I feel bad :P Anyway, totally didn't see the end to that episode coming... I just got wide eyed the second the teacher said "Stay calm..." funny how that phrase generally has the opposite effect? |

| I just watch 5 episodes in a row, and wow they just seem to skip from one arc to another. Yeah, everyone seems to die or leave. They didn't even explain if shiori died or not. Hopefully, Ayu will be back in the next episode. |

| Finally it is revealed what was lost, I had a hunch for the past couple episodes it was the doll but now it was confirmed. I had see the real life car crash before seeing this episode so when I saw it that video is exactly what came to mind, also I'm pretty sure that guy survived. |

| Akiko-san!!!! They really, really should have picked a sadder ending theme. So many episodes end like this... Now that I think about it, Yuuichi and Nayuki are a more natural couple than Yuuichi and Ayu... although, I really love Ayu. gah... looks like I'll be staying up late to finish this series tonight. |
| wow another episode with a dramatic ending. i am so glad taht they made yuuichi regret what he did in the past, it would kind of suck if he was helping everyone and the one girl that loved him first he never atoned for it. |

| just when i thought everything was predictable such as the angel doll, i knew that was the item when yuuich gave it to her, and knew that the last wish was going to be saved, but akiko-san in a car accident, that was WTF, i felt it was going to happen the second the door opened and called nayuki and yuuichi and then showed akiko i was like NOOOOO IT CAN'T BE, and BAM it happened... WOW i mean WOW... |

Same here, I haven't watched Toie's Kanon nor played the visual novel, so this is my first time ever watching this. I so foreshadowed that something like that car accident Akiko had would happen to her... no blood was shown, yet that car accident was pretty graphic, like the kind you would expect would kill anybody and leave a very gory aftermath -_- ~Anyway, a good episode revealing a deeper past between Yuuichi and his cousin. | I remember the ending to this episode really shocked me the first time I saw it and still startles me to this day, even when I know its coming. I just noticed this, but the transition to the end credits REALLY seems wrong in this one. Nayuki's mother walking... SLAM! ...cue happy credits music! |

| oh that's just great :\ so Akiko's most probably dead why does this has to be a drama where everybody dies kyoani dudes?:( next episode Yuiichi gets shot in a gangsta fight and Nayuki will die of cancer knowing key animes :\ ok...i'm calm now :) that was a cute episode overall...it was ok except for the end oh and wtf...Nayuki loves Yuiichi?isn't this incest? i was joking in my previous posts that only a nayuki yuiichi relationship is left so that this will become a harem... Kanon is amazing but some ideas are pissing me off PS:1 wish left on the doll...maybe will ayu somehow come back?:D |
