Two parter begins with an ourdoor trip and with a girl who can't get along with others similar to how Hikki is. Nothing too fanciful with this episode.

Another opportunity is given to the teacher to show once again how his contribution is essential and entertaining history.
Narration a bit slow, but the story is full of events.
Too bad they only designs the thing that is not well done, the rest is more than adequate; Hikki of the jokes are too funny and consistent with reality.

Oh man. This anime just keep getting better and better.
Very interesting episode again, heartwarming and very meaningful.
Hachiman's character is amazing. Intelligent and calm.
Making that plan to try and get Rumi a few friends was beautiful.

11/10.

I really like the depth of the characters.

Makes me want to be even more observant than I already am when interacting or watching people from afar.

This episode was one of my favorites ever... we got to witness how different 'lone wolf' personalities (both male and female) resonate with a younger version of themselves. I consider myself a lone wolf as well, so watching Hachiman and Yukinon empathize with Rumi felt like some kind of empathizing inception lol.

love love loved this, 5/5

This show is actually not that interesting to me except for one point: The "loner" vs "popular" topic which is really well done. Because it's true that the popular people will never understand why a loner feels the way he does.

I think this scene is forever embedded in my head ♥ Totsuka, you pervert.

Anyway, I loved this episode. Again, the mixture of comedy, plot, and touchy subjects, such as: bullying among ages and association with distinct walks of life. The characters are just so lovable, and for an anime to get genuine laughs out of me is incredible.

I feel really bad for Tsurumi Rumi, poor girl. Also that scene with Saika dreaming of Hachiman was great, best ship of the series.

Hikki really can't help finding Totsuka cute, and that adds a nice element to the usual uninterested front that he puts up. Also having his sister around and the brief one on one moments with Yukino continues to show that he does care about a lot more than he's willing to show

Hey, I was worried at first, in my head, it was like "Oh no, kids". Fortunately, that kid mini-arc looks promising.

Also, I hope they give the trap a personality because I don't like its forced comedy scenes at all and he stands out more for being a trap than anything else.

Summer break with a casual voluntarily activity in the elementary schooler camp site. A good place to make their bonding even better. Yet, the whole problem around the bullied never missed the chance to took the spot. Why that shit always a popular punchline for every drama. I've became irritated with that kind of problem at every show over and over again.

Obviously Hachiman's knew his place by identifying her problematica beyong the bullying activity. Its obvious because of his past, once again. What interesting here, was the interaction between him and Yukino. Shit. They both had a good time, conversing and observing beyond the kids problematica. After a nice momentary at the mall in the previous episode, they found a way to keep the bonding events to grew up. Nice attempt! Still, this arc was not finished. Hayama and Yukino had a special relations, thanks to their parents. Lets see this youth life problematica resolved. In an ellegantly way, or with a harsh drama way?

This episode was pretty hard to watch.
As an unintentional loner myself, I relate quite deeply to this young girl, but at the same time I do not relate at all to the reason behind her loneliness, while the show seems to make it look like it perfectly understands lonely kids. I do not think it does. Maybe, even surely, a some lonely kids are like that, but there's also an awful lot who are lonely for completely different reasons, because kids tend to isolate those who aren't like them. Actually I think they're trying to also display that through Yukino, but according to her kids were mean to her because she is pretty, and well... It's generally not the reason.
I'm really frustrated by this show because I like it, and it raises a lot of subject I'm glad to see adressed, but it does it very awkwardly. First of all, how can all those lonely characters have such good social skills ? The young girl for exemple, how can she be so comfortable with talking to Hachiman, Yukino and Yui ?
I think that's one of the many things that annoy me, there are so many "lonely" and "socially awkward" characters, and yet not a single one of them displays real, important difficulties when interacting with others.
That's what frustrates me, it looks like the show doesn't know what it really wants to do with its characters because despite what it tries to make it look like, it doesn't truly understand most "unintentional loners". That saddens me, most of us really aren't as edgy as Hachiman or as cold as Yukino...

I really like this episode because they all want to help Tsrumi in fixing her problem. Man that curry looks great and the Sensei seems to really like Hachiman for a reason xD. That talk with Yukino and Hachiman at the end was pleasant.

Mehhhh this episode was boring and so generic. I mean, how much more generic can you get than an angry, lonely, acts-like-an-adult kid like in this episode? The drama just felt so forced and fake.

Not really loking forward to the next episode.

Damn there are more things to Yui than I thought.

Also Yumiko is such a shit. Criticizing Yukino about looking down at everyone when she's the the one that does that. Almost ended your "friendship" with Yui just because she said she can't stay next to you and compliment you 24/7, how much of a hypocrite can you be.

More drama unfolds, as discussing the reason why one of the elementary girls is alone and how to help her brings up the differences and conflict between Yukino and Yumiko. Both have their own reason to why this young girl is always alone, and Yumiko states that it's because she looks down on everyone, thus causing everyone to alienate themselves from her, similar to Yukino. You could say that it's forced drama, that it's pretty cringe, because I used to think so the first time I watched this. But thinking on it a bit more, it actually feels kind of real.

Hachiman every time he sees Saika: I BELIEVE IN GOD

He also seemed to like the idea of putting lolies in a pot of curry. Didn't know he was into lolies when he literally has a little sister who walks around him at home in her underwear LOL
