Okay, not really applying to the story line. It gives you an insight though into the side characters or filler characters for that matter. They are crazy about Yuki aren't they, way over the border of obsession.

This was the worst episode of the series so far. I feel like it was 2 hours long...

I'm gonna have to agree, I hope this doesn't have a connection to future episodes.

But yeah, the episode was a bit unnecessary :(

What a horrible episode. I get that they need some filler eps but why pick such an unnecessary character? I really hope it gets better from now on.

Agreed. I'm sort of relieved to see, from the poll, that most people feel that way. I couldn't care less about Yuki's fan club, so I didn't care much for the lead character in this episode... I think the time could have been better spent developing other more important characters. D:

Pretty lame filler~ness episode.

I did laugh when the glasses chick was betting that the current president and the head of the fan club would be still havin' the same arguement 'til graduation.

Yea, that was the only part I really liked. I really didn't like this episode that much either but i did feel a little sorry for Makoto.

This wasn't exactly filler. It was the same way in the manga.

Pretty useless episode but I wonder if she'll be involved in anything that happens to either Tohru or the Soma family in future episodes. I'm afraid her character might get so carried away with her obsession so far that she might harm someone like it sometimes happens in real life.

Sooo boring... ;-;

It's a relief that the poll results reflect that. I just don't care about the fanclub... they don't really contribute to either the comedy or the drama of the series much. :(

no i actually thought this was very good. i think its just the mind set people have of the fan club that they r just completely tunnel vision the whole thing rather than expanding on their views of something that was truly enjoyable. granted yes, im not a big fan of the club myself and they can definitely get annoying, but i had to give motoko some bonus points for showing a little more than she normally does and overall i was very impressed with how it turned out.

I actually enjoyed this much more than some of he previous episodes that are just repetitive "introduce the Sohmas" fare. This episode actually shows that Yuki's changing personality is something that even outside characters can perceive. And Motoko was pretty funny at it too.

Is this a filler episode? Why did they even waste an episode for this? What's so important about that Motoko? Oh well, never mind.

Okey episode we could say this was more or less a filler, nothing much to do with the main story, still not all to bad just didn't fit imo!

This episode gets an unreasonable amount of hate. I happen to like Motoko (maybe being the best looking and having a great voice has had an influence) and its nice seeing some development and introspection. If by some miracle she would wind up with Yuki I wouldn't mind (this certainly wont happen in the anime, I'm referring to the manga conclusion, and even there .01% would seem optimistic), as long as she stayed dedicated and could tone down her over possessiveness.

Motoko.. I feel you, I so much feel you T__T Even after being so brave and trying to speak with him,
you didn't succeed. And I'm not even that much brave. I'm afraid I'd mess up like that, but maybe it's
worth it despite all of it.. I don't know... I just feel you.. ;_; And I admire all of it. Still smiling after all.
I wish the two of them be together at the end, though it doesn't seem like going in that direction now.

I really enjoyed this episode! The Prince Yuki fan club girls are hilarious and I really like Motoko even if she's a crazy obsessed freak about Yuki LOL

The whole scene with Motoko & her mom was hilarious!

While I'm not a big fan of the fan club girls, I am kind of impressed by how much development they managed to give such a minor side character in the span of one episode. Or maybe I'm more impressed with the fact that they even tried to do that at all.

I also related a bit to Motoko, though back in those days I was the kind of person that only felt like Motoko, but did nothing at all 😂.

I too am usually annoyed by this fan club as it feel quite a bit exaggerated, but I was impressed to see Motoko being able to see through her own flaws! I didn't expected Yuki to be so open with her either! That was quite a pleasant surprise!

Yeap, definitely me too! The introspection was so realistically pictured that it held me in suspense almost all the time!

Really unexpected for me as well! I used to think about Motoko that it was a dull annoying character fitter for a very young audience where a clear difference between bad and good characters is more appreciated. This episode definitely made Motoko more complex and slightly interesting.

On another note, this episode made me think that the effect that Tooru had on Yuki, changing his heart, went further, from Yuki to Motoko. Only after being impressed with Yuki's new demeanor, Motoko was able to become critical of her own thinking, feelings and behavior. I'd like to think that I'm not wrong about this 🙂.

Yuki was in danger of getting hugged. She could have done anything, it was unpredictable.
The ep was okay to me. The club is funny. I quite like Motoko. I just don't understand how Yuki changed. He seems just the same as always, polite, smiling.
