| What the title says. How did you learn about the furry fandom, and what made you join it? As for me, twas' the Star Fox video games. I became obsessed with them after playing Starfox Adventures in late 2012. I started looking up Starfox, and somehow or another that brought me to the furry fandom. I actually learned about the fandom long before Starfox though, shortly after I gained home access to the internet back in late 2011. Then, I was a big fan of the cartoon "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Some people called fans of that show "furries in denial" or "bronies are even worse than furries", which likely led me to looking up furries. I found that there was a lot of people who hated the furry fandom, mostly seemingly because of the pornographic content within the fandom, which I decided I didn't really have a problem with nor do I understand why people have a problem with it. Plus, the fandom isn't even all porn, contrary to what the internet thinks. But the internet has a way of loving to hate things....*sigh*. Well, that's my story. |
