If the delay actually amounts to something positive for the remake, I suppose it's for the best in the long run. It's just always slightly worrisome when something like this runs into issues so early. |

The 20th anniversary was 2012 - last year. I've heard rumors that the delay is because Princess Naoko Planning has been butting heads with the producers over changes to make the anime more marketable/PC/whatever, but so far as I've seen these rumors are unfounded (though they make sense), so take that with a very small grain of salt. |
