| So now what we have is a love triangle, a girl who is bitter because of her father death and a demon that seem to be able to manipulate entirely his power. Oh, we also have a couple of friend of Emi coming to save. But ironically, the seisme are surely due to them, so they could have killed innocent people just for that :P I don't know why, but I had a feeling that we would hear about Lucifer, it's a pretty common name in term of demon. It's probably her that shooted at them. Poor Chi-chan, misinterpreting everything :( That lanlord is fucking weird, who is she? Is everyone in that anime coming from the other world?? xD |

| Interesting landlady is interesting. Also the introduction of 3 new characters from the "old" world. He is insane. xD Wish this had rendered better. I guess this is my penalty for watching in LQ... Ahah. This scene. I guess they aren't used to the dimensions of their weak bodies, perhaps. |

| I thought, at first, that the bad guy (apart from Satan, of course) was going to be the person who was coming through the Portal with Emilia, but somehow got lost... Was convinced there was going to be a double cross going on. There was, but on the other side! Really enjoying this so far. Very intriguing. And Mikity knows some shizz, too... |

| Looks like the landlady might be from Ente Isla. Sad how Emi got taken away from her father at such a young age. I still hate her though. Oh shit Chi thinks Maou is cheating on her. The soundtrack in this anime is indeed awesome. Lucifer's hot. * o * Great episode. That ending was fucking intense... 8.5/10 My favorite episode thus far. |

| Hell yeah I knew this guy would be lucifer based on his appearance and the stories between Satan & Lucifer in Shin Megami Tensei games and the bible (Lucifer being just the hebrew word Helel mistranslated when it was used as "morning star" or "shining one" in reference to the Babylonian King though... It became a synonym for "the Devil" in pop culture) Poor chi-chan though. Also who the fuck is that landlady \(o_o)'/ |

Well, with all that backstory of Emilia, all fun character interactions stopped being so funny... Well, there had to be a serious reason for him to be the bad and she to hate him... Oh wow, suddenly character development with that argument between Emi and Mao... Things got serious, she cries because of her anger towards her sworn enemy and killed so much people in their world and now is so nice with everyone in this world... wow... ―and suddenly... A wild Chiho appears... Awkward~. In the end, I knew Lucifer had to play a roll in all this since in the first episode 3 out of 4 Satan's Commanders fell except Lucifer. |

| Im quite enjoying this series, but excactly the content of Emi's outburst is, whats hindering me from giving it a high rating. His nice behaviour just doesnt make sense, having destroyed millions of lives before (or however big the Ente country (LOL, btw it means duck and sounds totally ridicilous for a German)). I hope the episode explaining this doesnt take too long, why he suddenly started to respect life and so on. Mixing serious stuff in a comedy series can work, but it still must be convincing, otherwise the serious part is just annoying and totally feels off, which will result in less enjoyment. |

| maaaaan, i knew it was lucifer the moment i saw him. he just looks like one. anyone named lucifer looks like a cocky mofo that simple girls go after. i thought they all died except for alciel though? and wasn't lucifer one of satan's four henchmen? alciel's scream at the landlord was so hilarious i had to repeat it three times lmfao. this is really good tbh, i'm not bored at all. |
| One problem with watching too many dubs too close together is connecting characters to others with the same VA, every time I hear Chi speak I can't help but hear a mixture of Happy from Fairy Tail and Yoshinon from Date a Live As far as the episode goes, it was another decent entry following the same format of mixing drama with comedy. Alciel seems to be filling the more slapstick role with exaggerated reactions and expressions, and general silliness which is good when it's done right and, it seems to be so far. The moment that caught my attention, was that Emi looked the most angry when Mao said sorry after her backstory scene. Partially because she's insulted he would even dare try to apologise for the things that happened in Ente Isla, and partially because she wants to hate him more than she actually does. Decent character stuff in small doses |
