DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Earth Ablaze" We begin the ep w/ some pretty intense training/brainwashing for the cyber-newtype Puru. Soon we get the classic battle near the Earth's atmosphere. Oh yeah! I love big space battles! I also believe that this is the "Gundam Team's" first appearance all together. This is the ep where I thought ZZ really started measuring up to the previous series. With Haman boldly staking her claim to the Earth Sphere, and with Puru predictably falling to Earth, it looks like we're going to see some good old fashioned Earth combat now. |

Amuro in Earth when he met the old pilot with the Blue Mobile Suit, and the AUEG in earth when they met Bright and Amuro for the "first" time. I'm really llooking forward to the next ZZ episodes. These last ones made me up the ranking by 1 |

| Great episode, I loved the battle a lot and I assume too that we'll get some epic fights on Earth for a few episodes~ I can't wait!! :D But why Beecha is the one who controls my Hyaku Shiki?! :/ |

| Glemy is starting to become such a bad guy! Very nice character development for most of the important characters (Judau, Haman, Glemy, Puru, and so on). |

| After almost being halfway through this I can say Bright has gotten soft. He hasn't "corrected" anyone yet which is why people like Mondo and Beecha keep on doing stupid shit. Well hopefully Beecha redeems himself by becoming a pilot. |

| Roux kicking butt was the best part of the battle. It's about time we get a female not whining during battle. As much I try not thinking about Zeta, I noticed how different ZZ is when it comes to referencing old characters. In Zeta, they did it all the time with Kamille compared to Amuro with the Newtype BS yet Judau doesn't get more than one comparison. Very odd. parfaited said: Beecha piloting Hyaku Shiki...gag. If Char knew he probably would have thrown up. I agree, Beecha doesn't deserve something as awesome. Or he'll shed tears about youth. Anything goes with it comes to Char. |
| Can't wait for Puru to die like ALL the freaking cyber newtype does, and ALL of them are also annoying and want MCs affection. And also Beecha should gtfo Char's gundam. |

| Great episode! Wtf Puru is just like Rosamia. Even Glemy looks the same douche bag that Gates Capa that acted as a fake brother for Rosamia. I'm glad Bright made some serious talk with the rest of the crew. I just find it funny how Judau is trying hard to save her sister Leina, but she seems to be enjoying time, learning ballerina, piano and so. I knew Roux is an amazing pilot!! She did amazing with Zeta, and now she's kicking even more ass with Double Zeta! I also love the Zeta music being played in battle! Damn so good! Even when Judau landed on Earth, it's the same way Kamille and Amuro did. I really have to wonder if Puru will die sometime in the series. I don't want to see another Rosamia T__T Things are getting interesting! Can't wait for the next episode! |
| The classic episode in Earth orbit, with its forced atmospherical entry. Some things don't change. Among other returns: Glemy is becoming like Char was (is?), his men are disposable tools who aren't worth any consideration. Elpeo Ple, first saved Cyber Newtype or doomed like all her forefathers? Because of her physical age, her disturbed mental does not look as creepy as Rosamia, while her nature and its well-known treatment make her case probably more sad (at least for me). On another side, this same age leads to me to see her as easier to save than the ones Camille tried. Also, at such a young age, it would be easier to start over again. I'm all for Judau's success with her. (Camille multiple failures should not become a rule) Last thing about CNT: Neo-Zeon claims to wish to restore the Zabi " dynasty" and to set the humanity on the right path but they recycled an horrible war research program from the Titans. Haven't they better pilots to sacrifice the Hyaku Shiki in the hands of one of the two worst crew members?! Or is it supposed to be a joke, where a traitor inherits the suit of the former traitor? 4/5 @astrogonza Glemy was promoted either in order to keep him under watch (as Haman wanted) or thanks to his Zabi connection. He is a potential threat because he's supposed to be tied to some Zeon VIP (this being very slightly mentioned later by Haman if I remember it well), those who were with the Zabi (rather than those who came for Deikun's ideology). The same side Haman ruled over using Mineva as her flag / puppet queen. More on that is probably written only in the novels sadly. | Judau following the tradition of Gundam protagonists and playing Captain Save a Hoe with superpowered mentally challenged young women, I see. I don't care about Puru at all, because I stopped caring about Cybernewtypes altogether after Lalah, but I do wish he finds a way to rescue her somehow; yet another tragedy would become way too repetitive. Other than that, I greatly enjoyed this episode. First one I think that was serious through and through, probably because it followed the typical formula of the "Battle on Earth's atmosphere" episode to a T; then again, no reason to change something that works so well. Now I can only hope for future episodes to maintain this level of quality. Still kind of on the fence about Bitcha inheriting the Hyaku Shiki though: he really isn't worthy. | Everyone said it, but it deserves to be repeated: Beecha isn't worthy of the Hyaku Shiki. I hope Char will come back and retrieve what is righteously his. Though, Beecha was right when he complained before going out in the Hyaku Shiki... Hopefully he and Mondo will abandon the Argama once on Earth. Puru is way better than Rosamia. I agree that they're similar, I don't know why but she works fine to me while I couldn't stand Rosamia. The age? The context? The MSs they pilot? The fact she runs yelling "purupurupuru"? I don't really like Roux, but my respect for her increased in this episode when she said she volunteered because she believes in AUEG cause (though I don't really thing the idea of depopulate Earth in order to keep it without pollution is really a good one; but better than being a sort of neo-nazi like the zeonists or the titans). About Glemy Toto, I don't really like his evolution as a character. I don't understand how and when he transitioned from being a stupid and emotional/romantic kid who was good just for comedy (well, "good") to being a treacherous, calculating, sadistic bastard. And above all, how did he get promoted so fast? He never did anything important @Rei366 Having seen more episodes I grasped part of what you just said, but I wasn't sure. So thank you very much for the explanation and the video. Still, I don't like the transition as seen in the series, but at least now I understand it. Thanks again |

| Puru is just insufferable with that grating voice. Just shut up! Anyway.. another awesome episode and boy did this show make a turn around. Judau is easily one of my favorite Gundam characters of all time and has not had any real moments of being a total brat. Great action and now the crew is on earth! |
| I'm in awe at the shift in tone for the last 2½ episode. Neo Zeon/bad guys doing their job at being a real menace and the skirmishes are really good. On a side note: Where is Yazan & Mashymre, with the shift in tone if both are reintroduce I want them to be menacing like Rakan Dakaran. |

| This just crossed my mind, but why does AEUG retain its name? With Titans defeated, there's no reason to-be "Anti-Earth" Now Beecha said his full name for the first time. Since when are ballutes needed for spaceships to enter the atmosphere? 0_0 Bad memory on my side? Also, is the Federation in such a bad condition that Argama is the only ship fighting? I'm glad that Judau saved Ple though. Also I actually appreciated the dialogue about war in this episode, especially between Beecha, the crew member and Elle. It made sense, regardless of Beecha's personality - kids are fighting this war not because they want to. |

 Maybe "despise" is too strong of a word, but it's hard not to think that maybe you're a little bit evilish given just how a couple episodes ago you tried vaporizing a city. Just saying. |
| What an insult to Lt. Quattro, the man who never betrayed anyone in his life, to have the Hyaku Shiki being passed down to chronic backstabber Beecha. I'm sick of the same story arcs for these cyber newtypes. |
