That ending...

They finally learn how to laugh just before they out of power.

I don't know whether I should be happy or sad for them..

Man. Things got really dark really quick. I'm kinda bummed. I AM gonna miss the series though.

It's funny. While watching this with my friends, I laughed at Kato's "punchline" and said, trying to mimic the narrator's voice, "A punchline that depresses everyone is a new thing indeed." And the punchline of the series did exactly that. Still it was good in its own way.

I hated the ending, but at the same time I can not deny that it is a very good ending, It makes the story that seems to be a comedy, be in reality a tragedy and made this one of my favorite anime of all time.
