| Pretty good episode. While the first two episodes had their over the top excitement levels, they lacked depth. Lots of running, screaming and eating but not much more. However, here we got a bit more. My first impression of Mikasa was that she would be quietly interesting and I am pretty interested in her so far. Now that the characters don't all have that hunted look about them, they're becoming a bit more real. Added bonus, Eren is crying a bit less than could have been safely expected after the first episode. He improved in the second but here he seems to believe that there's more to the world than his rage. Not a great fan of the art. It feels inconsistent. The style overall works for me but something is missing. The first time I saw Mikasa this episode, I wasn't sure if it was really her. The second time, I still wasn't sure but I felt it had to be her (but I didn't 'know' it). Meanwhile, I didn't have similar issues with the other characters. Funny for me, just as she walked by whatsisname, I thought that she had had beautiful hair. Then two seconds later the guy says the same thing. Humour isn't delivered very well. It breaks up the grimness okay but I don't think they have their timing down yet. I like Sasha's seiyuu but not so much when her voice gets too cute. Shardis also showed himself to have more depth than he demonstrated early on. |
| This was a good episode in my opinion, and the ED followed it vey well. This anime also hold some intriguing concepts. |

| The show seems to be going downhill. I don't like how predictable things are getting. Eren was failing, and at the very end he succeeded at what he was doing, and I think that was too easy. Also, I didn't like how rude Mikasa was to the potato girl, no matter how amusing the potato girl was. It also bugged me that what I praised and loved about the show, the fact that characters didn't show exaggerated expressions like in most anime, I noticed the potato girl made such expressions. Still, it was a very funny scene. I'm still loving this show and its still great. It's gotten me to move Death Note off my top 5 favorites, and now Attack On Titan has made it into my top 5 favorites. Let us see if its good enough to be even more of a favorite than the other shows. |

I don't remember that in Funimations sub. |

| Agreed. Sasha was very weird. I almost thought she had touched the officer's missing heart when she offered half of the potato to him, haha. Then when she flipped at a single kind act that must have been performed directly by god...she's crazy. D: The ending is beautiful. I love the art. |

| Sasha is offically the best character of the show so far. She is just great. Eren turning out to have been using a faulty equipment all this time, but still being great with it was just way to fucking cheesy >_> One thing that really annoys me is that stupid effect whenever something "intense happens" like in a fucking comedy (I don't know what to call it, it's those moving whitish lines all over the screen). It's just annoying and unnecessary. |
