week 4 results for discussion posts all seem higher then what I had tracked.

example shingeki no kyojin Episode discussion posts (1700): 42500

1700 posts seems too large a number if it's only episode 3 and 4, atm i've got 707 posts for episode 3 and 467 posts for the current post numbers, and that only totals 1174.

could there be a possibility that any posts that were eventually deleted still got counted?

i has no problems with going with the posted numbers, i've just got my curiousty piqued about the mechanic of counting the posts

http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=571981 Check the first question/answer in the FAQ for the long version, but basically its 1700 because that's how many new posts there were iin all discussion threads collectively for that series.
