Season 2 just ended on a cliffhanger.
Each season adapted 4 novels.
There are 8 novels so far.
2 novels release a year.

THE PAIN.

EMBRACE IT.

2 years wait isn't that bad.

Might be more than that since anime isn't bound to be released exactly after the publishing of the 12th novel.

I don't really think this anime is special so I'll just probably forget about it.

Even though the episode left me somewhat dissappointed, I am looking forward to a next season.

Well this series is definitely worth the wait. And I can use this 2.5 year gap to clear my huge anime backlog while waiting for the 3rd season.

It will be well worth it. A bit more than 2 years is something I'll wait gladly if the anime manages to adapt everything correctly, which hasn't been a problem so far.

This. And we'll have tons of other anime to watch in the mean time.

You know how many years we have been waiting for Full Metal Panic?

It has the chance of never being adapted for all that you know.

i like the spice & wolf too even they had a good sale their still no season 3, the last novel i read is in volume 6 holo and lawrence still traveling via a boat, the anime end on volume 5. so far the last volume release is 17 is more than enough for 100 episode anime :( i hope some studio will invest to this, its already 4 years since season 2 finish airing.

although i know what happen in last volume of novel :D a very happy ending

I don't get it, are you disagreeing with me that a cliffhanger means an anime is guaranteed another season?

There is a possibility that it will only continue for another two volumes
leaving the possibility of a twelve episode season. I can't be sure how
likely or unlikely that is though, at least not until the next volume is released.
