| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good epi, nothing much happened. The group is depressed about the failed mission & Maka is curious about her 'Demon Hunter'. Only interesting part is Kidd's investigation & Stein's condition. Anyways, this epi looks like an insert epi only cos' the next epi is back to manga again =3 |

| I haven't found any English subs yet. I am fluent in Spanish so I was able to watch Anime Overground's release. I suppose I could try to translate that into an English sub but... I've been sitting here ready to encode the episode as soon as I get my hands on some subtitles. Hopefully they'll release some today. |

| Crona a boy right? |
| Boku is manly way to refer to yourself but it doesn't mean you're a guy. E.g Kino form Kino no Tabi. She's girl but ugly and referring to herself in boys manner. Eh, SE goes to dropped. Looks like we can expect shitty filler ending like in FMA. There is already way to much filler scenes in episodes. |

| It's a transitional episode from the last big part to the next. Hardly filler. Character development was great. Soul x Maka and Stein were great additions to the ANIME story which has now taken its own route from the manga, something known for some time because it's not and on-going series like Naruto and Bleach. BTW I released subs 4 days ago on my forum but since nobody decided to distro it on the torrents, it never really got around until I uploaded an encode onto Veoh. I don't do distros really. I sub, encode, and release for friends. |

| Does slayer-whatever-the-fuck not watch Soul Eater? I don't think I've seen an episode thread without him for weeks. o.o Crona really needs to man up (or woman up, depending...). S/he's pretty much the only one who can stop Medusa from pwning everyone with BREW. |

| Finally they gave Free some skreen time. I thought they had forgotten about that crazy immortal basterd. But i was hella short and he was wearing a mask. But still even his voice is sweetness. Shinigami-sama realy made me laugh. Black Star seemed pissed. I wonder what's gonna happon?! |

| Now I'm curious. Since they skipped the clown arc, are they going to deviate from the manga but they have Inspector Joe coming which is like 3 or 4 episodes. This makes no sense since they already deviated and people expect them to, why go back to the manga unless they plan on following the manga till the end, leaving it open ended. |

| this ep was ok, nothing much happened. i expected kid to find out some huge secret but he didn't. stein was creepy though. can people also stop complaining, this is going to be different from the manga because its the anime, also the manga is still going. it doesen't have to be the same as the manga since it isn't. also comparing the series to the manga is just stupid. |

| It seems to me that SE is taking FMA route: start the same like in the manga, but change the storyline later and once the series ends, wait for the manga to end and then make another one that follows manga. The fact that storyline is more and more different then the manga and the fact that they already know how many episodes there will be confirm this theory. As long as the story remains good, I have no complaints. |

| There's a bit more filler and few things changed here and there, but it really has not parted ways with the manga like so many keep whining about. The clown arc is after the whole finding-the-spy-shibusen mini arc, and I really don't care if they skip it. It was pretty boring. I'm confident they can this series very nicely with enough open-endness for a possible sequel. |

| Did not read any soul eater volumes at all, so I love where the anime is heading atm. Just wish Marie could get that snake out at some point. >: It saddens me to see Stein go insane. |
