Hello everyone! I've been on this site for a few months now but I don't feel like I've been a very active member in the community, so I'm introducing myself for the first time, as I would love to have more friends that are into anime. Most of my friends are not, and I like to get other people's suggestions.

I'm still a little new to anime, but I've been watching a lot recently and getting a good feel for it. I hope to make friends, get good suggestions, and discuss anime with you all because I have very few people to do it with in the real world.

Anyway, I'm an 18 year old girl in college for biochem. Anime has been a wonderful way to kill time when I don't feel like socializing and doing homework, and I can't believe it took me this long to discover this wonderful world of awesomeness.

*Edit: Manga suggestions would also be great. I got a new phone and it's made reading manga a lot easier, so that's something else I would also love to get into!

Hmm.. welcome to the forum. I don't use it either I'm really bored at the moment.

I haven't read a manga in over 10 years now but I used to be a big collector. Unfortunately they were all damaged/my dad gave most of them away, but I remember really liking FLCL, Evangellion, Love Hina, I mean those were the interests of like a 12 year old boy though.
