25 eps a night/day should be ok. You'll start draining your energy with anime if you rush too much.

don't worry as the more you watch animes the less you'll be able to use that power, until you realise that 50 episodes of 1 anime in a week went from "not very much" to "a lot".

I personnaly watched hxh in 1 week and it was during classes. I just couldn't stop watching, when going to college(or high school idk how it works in america) when coming back from it.
and this kind of things happened a few times, with one piece, naruto.

but now, it is impossible and even though I still watch lots of animes, I'm not realy able anymore to watch an entires series without stoping.

It's good, because there will come a time where you prioritize finding good food over watching anime.

binge watching is a good thing, but, anything can be an addiction and since you are facing two in this situation... it's best to take breaks, do something else for a day's break. when I binge watch I sometimes watch an entire complete series in one sitting (12 episodes are easy) same with two days with 24, but, too much is a bad thing.

you could get burned out, or you could face something far worse, so, find something else to do from time to time, such as gaming, sleeping, or other hobbies.

Honestly the math here baffles me, while definitely possible it still hurts (for me) to see someone essentially make a marathon out of a hobby. To each their own I guess but man I feel like if I can iron out 13 episodes in a day I feel accomplished.

Unless it's 10 minutes or less for a episode... that's damn a lot. The most I watched was 12 or so. Though I don't think I'm ever going to do it again.

in 1 day there are 1440 minutes, if in average every episode you watched was 20 minutes (skipping opening / ending) then you have 2000 minutes of anime.

Technically you cant watch 100 episodes of anime in one day, UNLESS you are fast forwarding the scenes you dont like, and you are just skipping through the episodes.

I know it's possible because I have done in the past many years ago, however like I said I skipped ALOT of content in the episodes and only watched the scenes I wanted to watch.

Now back to the question, is 100 episodes alot in a day? depends. How much did you skip? are you even able to recall certain scenes, story in the episodes?

I think its fine as long as you enjoyed it.

Yeah, instead of watching more anime, you should grind those textbooks a bit more. Basic math is quite a necessity in society tbh.

No. 25 episodes per day. If you have enough free time. That's 10 hours a day of watching anime.

I did an average of 52 episodes per day while watching the original Dragon Ball...

It was a god tier experience... but, never again will that happen.

Now it's 10 per day at max...

An average of 52 episodes per day that's not even possible...

The way I remember it today I watched 52 episodes in a day just once– from the Tenkaichi tournament to the fall of the Red Ribbon Army. I was probably stretching the truth by calling it my "average".

Recently i've been Banging Out Anime and i watched 106 episodes in 4 days. About 35 episodes a day from after school till night.

Is this alot or not enough because i want to watch as much anime as i can before its too late and i grow old.

Am i going at a good pace?
Are you trolling 35*20=700 min. That is almost 12h. Unless you are stuck at home sick is way too much. Generally between 3 and 12 ep a day is a good average.

It sounds like you were really really stretching the truth by calling it your average lol.

A friend of mine one time called me "a binge watching monster" but my average is actually only 7 episodes per day which is like 2.5 hours per day.

Usually 12 episodes takes 4-5 hours so yeah, around 10 hours of anime a day is quite a bit

well, it comes down to the ratio of episodes of around 26 eps per day...that's what an average series is around (either 26 eps per season or two seasons plus 2 ovas etc)
I've definitely consumed at that speed and you can do that on a free day but not if you have anything to do on that day.
TL;DR yeah its a lot

its simple bro, 23minutes per anime (21 minutes if always skip OP+ED) 25 episodes x 21 = 525 minutes = 8 hours

What the absolute hell? How do you watch 100 episodes in 4 days? Don't you have things to do? Don't you get tired? I can watch AT MOST like 12 episodes a day, but most days I watch like 3.

i mean i finished khr in about a week (203 episodes) but that was all over spring break, and i literally watched it from the moment i woke up to 12 at night. 35 episodes is like over 10 hours so i can’t understand how you manage to watch that amount during a school night. i’d say calm down a little, that anime’s going nowhere and you’ll have plenty of time in your life to watch anime.

also this is a thread from 2013 who dug this up

Yeah, it really is solid, but still far from being called "alot". 25 episodes a day is just 8-9 hours spent. Some psychoes can achieve even more

I was being very generous with him last year, but me from 6 years ago was full of shit. I question if it was even 52 episodes, looking at the episode titles 42 seems more likely.
All there is for me now is to break that 52 episode ceiling(today, tomorrow, some time this year?) and redeem myself of the past
