| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another Genshiken episode. I didn't like this episode as much as the other ones, but it was still really good. I was really hoping that Saki would do the cosplay. I even though she would say 'Nya'. In the end it didn't happen... =P Oh well... (This is the first anime discussion topic I created. Hope it's well done! ^^) |

| Yeah it wasn't as funny as the previous episodes but it was great nonetheless. I guess it might have been funnier if I actually knew something about toy models. but yeah I was also hoping Saki would do an all out cosplay, too bad but hopefully in the next episodes^^, |

| A-Faith had like 20 Translator Notes in this ep for the people that didnt know the gundam series XD Im a gundam addict so for me it was one of the best eps... btw. this and the episode before it had some bad quality graphics imo |

| I... can relate easily to Ohno T_T I built several plastic models before, even though they're no where as complex as the one they're building, but you really felt like you put your heart and soul in the thing. The first ever model I built is still my favorite despite it being a lot older and some color scrapped off ^_^ |

| Yeah! Weird jelousy on Saki's part! I liked this episode! Lots of other shows that show otakuness (OreImo, NHK-ish) often focus on doujinshi and eroge, but never seem to cover the airfix type models of gundam that are huge over there! In all honesty, I've often thought about watching some of the gundam but there is so much material that I've been a bit daunted as to where to start! Anyways, great ep, makes me think of my warhammer hobby and when people start picking up my models and all I can think is 'dont drop them dont drop them dont drop them dont drop them'! |

| The music when Saki held the models was great. Also I swear the main character's design has changed in the past couple of episodes...Something about him, can't quite put my finger on it. |

| Prolly one of the few eps I didn't enjoy (not to say that it sucked, I just don't follow the mecha series or rly care about model making as much). The last lil bit at the end about the guys fantasizing about Saki being a cat ear maid...priceless. |

Kousaka was nowhere to be seen and no explanation given as to his whereabout! Most importantly where are the 2 new guys? Nobody seems to have noticed their disappearance. |

| They didn't stick around, although I believe one of them eventually returns to the club. I enjoyed this one very much, not because of the models (too much fine motor control required for me to do that although I did build a few WW2 planes in high school)) but because we got to see some of the inner conflict that Saki is going through. She hates the club however, outside her boyfriend, it also seems the only social interaction she has on campus (and Ohno seems to be her only female friend). After all, the club members are actually pretty nice guys compared to many university males of that age so it wouldn't hurt if she tried a little harder to understand them--better than frat boys or jocks... |

| Saki was such a bitch in this episode. She rags on the group for building models when it's spring but all she did was complain & smoke in various areas. Then she breaks Ohno's model and refuses to do the little cosplay that Ohno requested. It's cat ears! She needs to get off that high horse of hers. |
| There was so much tension when Saki was moving the parts of the figure. I was like don't break! And then snap! I felt really bad for Ohno. I thought for a second that Saki was going to cosplay. But I guess not. Good episode. |

It's been 3+ years since I watched this. This was one of my favorite episodes of the show, since it went into some details of Gunpla building. | Funny episode, this comparison between the different stages that follow the normal people with the seasons and the Otaku, made me think. Narrative that goes hunting the dark secrets hidden behind the Plamos. Saki obviously is the co-star with Ohno and Madarame, which stands out for its qualities of President. Tanaka is rewriting himself on this occasion. If I may say, I judge this hobby something really wonderful! |

| I don't know a thing about model building, but that still hurt to watch. That being said, I did enjoy Genshiken going all out showing how they made their models for the whole episode, hammering in the dedication and care needed. Also yeah, Saki in the maid cat ears would have been a sight to behold, but it would have also meant losing what's left of her pride. It's still a tad bit too early for that. |

| Saki had to ruin Oono's model, and she didn't even put the nekomimi on. I understand that she's not an otaku, but she has to respect things that are that difficult to make and she shouldn't touch them. |

| Just what I wanted to see, Saki acting like a totally obnoxious fucking bitch and it ending with some stupid cosplay joke. Would have been a great episode if Saki wasn't such a fucking bitch, but isn't that most episodes? |

| You just knew it that when Saki asked Ohno that she can do anything to repay her, Ohno would say cosplay xD. But that was really annoying from Saki, she didn't even put fucking cat ears on. I mean it's not like you have to go naked or anything. |
