| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just saw it online. The animation style was alright, looks scientific enough. Animation is just so-so imo but there was some action. The soundtrack was good imo with a mysterious like feeling to it. I didn't expect this tbh: Quite a mysterious episode imo but it was alright. Shiki had some confessions to make and she wasn't even sure if she is herself. Well, it was mysterious but the ending of the two holding hands was kinda heartwarming imo. I also found the ED song was pretty catchy. |

| the pacing of this was just horrible.animation wasnt anything special but atleast the robodogs werent in 3d/cgi .. i absolutely hate that it looks horrible when 3d objects stick out of classic animation.,.so thats a huge plus. i cant really say this was worth watching..the girl (forgot name ) just wasnt a believeable character.. still 6/10 |
| I remember how hyped everyone was for this OVA/movie back when it was announced, and it was not yet revealed to be part of the Young Animators Project. This episode does show the project has its highs and lows, but it's a nice way for animators to showcase their work through the packed seasons. Still, in this case I was truly disappointed, the premise started out nicely, but the characters were not fleshed out enough. And oh, sure, you got over your sister's loss quite fast there. Totally calling the person in her body being a dude though. Just because. |

| I don't know about anyone else, but had the soundtrack not been there, I would have for sure rated this an 8. I HATED the music... but the voice acting was good and the balance of voice and sound was good too... I think this is probably my favorite thing to come out of Young Animator Project. Maybe I just really enjoy dystopian futures... |

| That was just bad...emotionless drawings, Stick figure bodies. Cliche plot. The only decent thing about this one-shot was the ed song. The rest was just boring...lots of talking it was like a SHAFT production bur worse. Now i hope that Ryo won't be bad. And if its possible maybe Death Billiards and/or Little witch academia will get a full tv release. |
| Why is everyone so negative about this OVA/movie/project? I admit I liked Death Billiards a lot more but excuse me, how the hell is this plot cliche? "O damn, another anime that involves soul swapping and where the wrong soul enters someone else's body and where the brother help that person out, damn, I've already seen like 20 of these. Why can't they do something more original, like something with a normal high school boy who encounters a strange girl who has supernatural powers or is a demon lord in disguise or a supernatural fighter? If only they would make an anime like that" -_-" Of course soul swap/body swap isn't anything new but at least it's not a "high school boy who suddenly stumbles upon a demon girl/mysterious girl/transfer student who turns out to be the girl from his lost childhood memories and with whom he ends up with since she's totally in love with him". Or just a plain old boring overused harem thing with a whimpy male character who everyone seems to love. Well anyway, I personally liked this a lot, I wish they would've explained a bit more about the plot but there are only 20 minutes so I understand it. Plus it adds a bit to the mysterious feel... though it's a pity they didn't tell us more in the end. The character design was a little strange and I had to get used to it at first but it's nothing bad, just something different. I've seen moe characters that look a lot worse/more repulsive than these characters. And at least it's not half assed rotoscoping gone wrong >.> I also don't get why everyone's bitching about the ending song, I didn't love it or something but it's not a bad song imo, the begin is pretty nice actually... though it migt've been better if they would've chosen a calmer song, maybe only a piano melody. But yeah, overall I liked it and the story was more interesting than half of the new anime's that are getting a tv serie nowadays, so 8/10 for me. |

| It has only begun. Or so that's how it feels. Totally felt like a pilot episode to me. Only so much they can fit in 24 minutes with a concept like this anyway. Interesting concept, and stellar seiyuu casting choices, but not much else to work with - not even time for development of any kind. As a fan of KitaEri it's time for me to hunt down that ED... |

| Could have been executed better. Felt a bit slow at first, then rushed too much in the middle, during the fight scene. Plot and premise have potential. 6/10 Would like to see this in a series. |
| The thing about this OVA, is that compared to Little Witch Academia and Death Billiards, which were both great, it seems bland. After watching those two, your expectations for the this one are pretty high. All in all, it was pretty average. I was kind of bored in the beginning, but it got better later on. |

| The cyberpunk stuff was pretty good, but the generic protagonist and his incestuous love interest (so pretty much everything else) are tedious as hell. The thing that gets me is there's actually a good use for the terribly over-used incest thing here. Since apparently another person somehow inhabits the girl's body, is she no longer his sister? What if he were to become attracted to this new person in his sister's body? Is that incestuous? It's the same body with the same genes, but it's not really his sister. And what happens if his sister's mind is returned to that body? Will his attraction vanish with it? These are actually interesting, uncomfortable questions that heighten the whole interchangeable body thing, which would make for actually good science fiction which disrupts our notion of how things are. But we're shown in a sequence that takes place before the mysterious consciousness-switching that the male lead is just another one of those animu guys who wants to screw his sister. Way to snatch boredom from the jaws of fascination. It's pretty ridiculous that whoever that person is who claims they feel really uncomfortable in the girl's body went straight for a revealing dress when picking clothes. I don't mind there being sex appeal in a show, but if you do it this clumsily it just means I can't take anything seriously. |

I was taken a bit a back for an entry from Young Animator Training Project. The open end seems to scream for another movie or turn to series? Nah, not sure what to say about that atm. Overall this just OK. |
| Never been offended by anything in anime, whether it be fanservice, nudity, or incest. So, I enjoyed this, it was entertaining enough. 7/10 |
