| I like Niko & Rin What i like about Niko: Her leadership is important because she has so many objectives to become idol by her theories She's quite adventurer like eavesdropping muse in episode 5 just like video game such as assassin's creed 3. She is firm and straight as a leader. Most importantly, cute, athletic. For this poll, I vote Rin: Her energy is the same like Mee-K Charat. She likes sport, that makes her easily to dance for school idol. Short hair, very cute, beautiful, athletic, cheerful. I like her very much. |

| I'm only on episode 7 of the first season, but I voted for Honoka. It was kind of a draw between Rin and Honoka for me. Both are pretty genki and really cute, which I like, they are also optimistic and really nice girls. But, I think I like Honoka the best. She is just really cute and funny. I wish she was my girlfriend～～～～ I'm surprised Maki is so high on the poll. The voice acting for her character is really really bad. If it wasn't for that I would like her more. Maybe people that can't understand Japanese don't notice as much...? Nozomi I just really don't like. I wish she wasn't even in the show lol. |

| Kotori is my favourite; both her looks and voice. I really have a hard time choosing just one though, wish you could give the option to vote for top 3...or 7 or something xD I'm also a pretty big fan of Maki & Nozomi. |

| Hmm, not sure if I might change my preferences later, I'm on episode 9 atm but here's my ranking for the idols: 1) Eri <3 2) Kotori 3) Hanayo 4) Nico 5) Nozomi 6) Maki 7) Rin 8) Honoka 9) Umi FAVORITE NON IDOL -> Arisa, Eri's sister. Honestly, if this poll was for all girls (and not just idols), Arisa would probably be my 3rd choice. |

| 1. Umi Sonoda - I gave my vote to her because she has two sides: One is the strict side, which I like for unknown reasons and the other is the shy side, which I find really cute. I also like her singing voice, it's so soothing. She's also like me when I'm suddenly woken up, so plus points for her. 2. Maki Nishikino - I actually can't pick between her and Umi but I think that Maki has too much votes already so... Anyway, I like people who can play the piano and I think she looks pretty and she's fun to tease. 3. Eli Ayase - I've always liked Student Council Presidents, I also think she looks beautiful with her hair down (not that she looks ugly in a ponytail, she's actually pretty with ponytail but much more if her hair is down). Although I was annoyed with her before she joined Muse, she turned out to be rather dependable after she joined them. 4. Honoka Kousaka - She's funny and she's quite childish. Muse wouldn't be the same without her. Her obsession with food reminds me of my younger brother. 5. Nozomi Toujou - She reminds me of my Mom (Maybe because she gives lots of advises) but when Rin found out that she kept a picture of Muse in her room, I found her embarrassed state really, really cute. 6. Rin Hoshizora - I really like her singing voice, it sounds so different with her normal voice. I kind of like her because of her athletic side, I would like to play basketball with her or something. 7. Hanayo Koizumi - For some reason, I felt disappointed when she took off her glasses. Anyway, her obsession with rice and idols are over the top so, lol. 8. Kotori Minami - Her singing voice is so squeaky, I wonder what it would sound like if she inhaled helium.... She's a bit bland but I still think she's okay. 9. Nico Yazawa - Just to get this straight: I don't hate her. She's cute and all but... I just don't fancy her. I totally get why people like her though. This ranking is just my opinion so if your opinion is different, then so be it. I'm not trying to offend anyone at all. |

| I voted for Nozomi, but Niko, Maki, Honoka, Umi all are great. Tbh I love all the girls, they each have their own roles and everything is balanced. Love dat about this anime. |

| Since it's an idol anime, I'll judge my favorites based on character and voice. As far as character goes: 1. Maki - She is probably the only character who got noticeable character development. She is a giant tsundere (the type I prefer) but her ego is justified as she really excels at everything. Also, she looks the prettiest out of the whole cast, and her voice actor did an amazing job. 2. Umi - Borderline tsundere, very down to earth person (not totally cray cray like Honoka) and she looks damn fine. 3. Honoka - She has her head above the clouds, and that's what I love about her. She has 'fun' written all over her. Also, she is hilarious. When she was watching Maki sing and then started clapping like some weirdo it made me laugh my ass off.* 4. Nozomi - For some reason, her character design creeped me out at first, but I grew to love her. She is like the fairy godmother of the group, and she is always there to help her friends out. 5. Nico - She is the walking meme factory of Love Live, and she can be damn hilarious. Although her borderline insane personality can be annoying sometimes. 6. Eri - She is not that outstanding, but she is still the best out of the bottom 4. 7. Rin - She can be funny, and that's about it. 8. Kotori - The stereotypical cutesy girl. Way too one dimensional and her voice is really annoying. 9. Hanayo - Urgh...let's just say she is even more one dimensional than #8...and her voice is pure cancer. I don't dislike her though. It's just that she doesn't have any special personality traits, other than being so moe it hurts. Voice (singing): 1. Maki - Her voice is something special, and it's really nice. 2. Umi - I guess her VA is a professional, she is really good at singing. 3. Eri - She (+ Maki and Umi) are the only characters with womanly sounding voices. 4. Honoka - Her voice is inbetween sounding deep and sounding like your average cutesy Japanese teen idol. It's 6/10. 5. Rin - Same as Honoka, except hers' is a bit worse. 6. Nico - While she falls to the 'chipmunk' category, her voice is recognizeable. Kinda like Hatsune Miku, she sounds like a little girl but at least you always know it's her. 7. Nozomi - I can tell her VA needs some experience. I rate her above Hanayo and Kotori because her voice still sounds closer to a woman's voice. 8. Kotori - Chipmunk. -1/10 9. Hanayo - Castrated chipmunk. Hell on earth/10 I can praise the studio because compared to a lot of other slice of life series' (I haven't watched many musical animes yet so I can't compare it to those), where there are always really annoying and badly written characters, Love Live's main cast are all likeable, but not all the characters stand out.  |
