| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| I laughed a little...no, A LOT when Himawari commented on how useless Akane was. It kinda reminds me of my older sister and I. I almost thought they forget about animating Kuroki-san when the quad ALMOST destroyed the Alone. Then she appeared... ...I liked how Rei-chan managed to shoot her bow at the last minute, I was almost wide-eyed at the moment when her bow entered the explosion. It managed to hit one last dying piece. I'm not really mad at Rei, just the type of alone that came this time around in general. Akane fell, I wonder how they are gonna rescue her...and what Rei will think. |
| So, I am not really sure about the villain's priorities here because apparently: Military and civilian casualties = acceptable cost of Rei fulfilling her contract Considering skipping school = unacceptable behavior I guess it's okay to be evil but not uneducated. |

It is about the goal. Skipping school might arouse suspicions without furthering the goal and in fact may affect adversely the ability to achieve the goals of Alone. Killing people while furthering the goal is perfectly acceptable. Rei actively tries not to care about earth because she is selfishly willing to sacrifice earth and all its inhabitants to get her world back, something which probably isn't even possible but she believed the Alone when they made that deal with her. |

Well, I mostly meant what I said as a joke. I mean, the idea of reprimanding someone for skipping school when they bear, in part, the responsibility for widespread destruction and murder seems silly. Though you do make a good point concerning the reasoning behind it. Of course, I still have to question why the villain would choose a middle school girl as the agent of world destruction in the first place if things like missing a school day could impede your plans. It's probably best not to think too hard about that type of thing though, since it happens all the time in anime. |

| By the way, if Rei is from another world or something.. How she is able to study?.. I mean, someone registered her?.. Well, there are ways.. Maybe someone can have connections, or just hack system, with how Alons probably could do that.. As well as not sure, how much of a truth is a thing of being from another world.. Well, or another lie of Alons.. Well, "why" Rei is in school - isn't too big of a question for me.. School age person on street in the learning time can attract attention.. And check, if person is properly studying as it's obligatory to learn in school until certain age.. And being registered in school raises no questions.. Maybe there can be another reason, though.. |
